It would seem that this is impossible: combine in one picture both the unbearable bitterness of loss and incredible happiness.
Cherie and Hayden Ayrton were looking forward to these kids. The doctors said there would be twins. The spouses were afraid to announce this to their friends and relatives. Cherie, 31, was already pregnant with twins, but lost her children at 12 weeks. Hayden and Cherie waited for another scan in the third month. When the doctors said that everything was going great, it couldn’t be better, the couple decided to announce that they were waiting for a replenishment. Cherie even ordered a “pregnant” photo session to celebrate, to capture this time, one of the happiest periods of her life. Now she fearlessly posted pictures on her Instagram page, thinking that everything would be fine.
Brothers were expected (ultrasound revealed that there would be boys) and two daughters, Cherie and Hayden. The future babies were even given names: Tiger and Johnny.
“Two boys and two girls – just perfect. I was so looking forward to this moment, when we will all finally be together, ”says Cheri.
But all hopes and expectations were dashed when Cherie was five months pregnant. Doctors said that the heartbeat of one of the babies had stopped. Johnny died before he was born.
“This is the worst thing that can happen to any mom. Johnny’s death broke my heart. My life will never be the same, I myself have changed, and this is forever, ”says Cheri. After all, the wound from the previous loss had not yet healed in her heart when her pregnancy was interrupted at the 12th week.
“I was just devastated. It happened again … Why, what am I doing wrong? There is no answer, ”Cherie asks herself and the doctors the same question.
The doctors told the woman that it was better to deliver the pregnancy. After all, one of the boys is alive, he has every chance of being born a healthy and strong baby. There were still four months left – and all this time Cherie knew that she was carrying a child under her heart, who would never open her eyes, cry, see the light.
Tiger was born on time. His deceased brother was cremated. But Cherie wanted the memory of Johnny to remain in their family. She decided that her unborn boy should also take part in the photo shoot with the newborn Tiger. The resulting photo went viral on social media. Little Tiger lies in a bowl, wrapped in a white cloth. Nearby is the same bowl, to which a white cloth stretches like an umbilical cord. But there is no child in the bowl – there is a tiny urn with the ashes of the unborn Johnny.
“I received incredible support. But I’m broken. Part of me seemed to be dead. Life goes on, I have to be a wife, mother, friend and boss. It’s not over, so I try my best. And my family is now dear to me as never before, “Cherie said in a conversation with
