Morozov vodka is a real gift for those who believe that in ancient times alcohol was better. The drink, made at the Veliky Ustyug Distillery according to the old recipes of the Russian North, is poured into thick-walled squat shtoffs. Even the plastic cap of the cork imitates sealing wax streaks. The management of the enterprise is going to bring the brand to the federal level.
Historical reference. Veliky Ustyug distillery was founded in 1901. Now its products occupy about 6% of the alcohol market of the Vologda region.
In the names of vodkas and tinctures produced in the last 20 years, the word “frost” has always been present. It could not be otherwise: Veliky Ustyug is the birthplace of Father Frost. More recently, the company produced a whole line of vodkas “Rodina Ded Moroz” and “Ot Ded Moroz”.
But in 2015, the plant acquired the largest East European alcohol holding Bayadera Group. New investors highly appreciated the company’s technologies: in the manufacture of drinks at the Veliky Ustyug distillery, only natural raw materials and Lux alcohol are used. Even artesian water, which is added to drinks, is not distilled, but only carefully purified from harmful impurities at the molecular level (using reverse osmosis filters). Technologists believe that such water retains a “live” taste.
But all this seemed to the new owners not enough: to enter the federal level, an unusual, memorable brand was required. In 2015, the company’s blenders created Morozov vodka infused with reindeer antlers. The line includes a variety of tinctures with berry juice and extracts of northern herbs. The company purchases environmentally friendly raw materials from the pharmacy network.
The name of the drink is ambiguous. On the one hand, the Morozovs are a rich merchant family, and their name on the label adds respectability to the drink, on the other hand, it is still the same allusion to Santa Claus. Each buyer can choose his own option.

- MOROZOFF “Morozov Title” – vodka with a strength of 40%, with flax infusion.

- “Morozov Peregon No. 4. Bitter on the horns” – balm with a strength of 35% with an infusion of sage, poppy, oregano, licorice root, ginger, anise, chamomile, lemon peel, anise, oak buds, blueberry and rosehip juice, natural honey and essential orange oil;
- “Morozov Peregon No. 5. Cranberry” – sweet tincture with a strength of 20% with cranberry juice;
- “Morozov Peregon No. 6. Aronia with cherries” – a sweet tincture with a strength of 18%, with a fruit drink of chokeberries and cherries, an infusion of cherry leaves.
