Alexander Zubkov, two-time Olympic bobsleigh champion at the games in Sochi:
– You can wake up in a good mood only after getting enough sleep. Sleep should be calm, sound and not less than 8 hours. You should start the morning with a light breakfast: eat fruits and dairy products, for example, I choose cottage cheese. Finish your breakfast with a cup of tea or a glass of juice. Do some exercise. By the way, you can start the exercises while lying in bed. Slowly getting out of bed, wave your hands, bend in all directions. It is better to do a warm-up every day. But don’t force yourself. After all, exercise is beneficial only when it is done from the heart.
Svetlana Khorkina, two-time Olympic champion in artistic gymnastics:
– My day always starts with morning exercises. Every morning I do a set of exercises that I myself have developed taking into account all the characteristics of the body. To make exercise beneficial, I advise everyone to develop a personalized morning program with the help of doctors and fitness professionals. I try to live a healthy lifestyle, so I start the morning with a glass of cold water. Preparing breakfast the night before, like many, is not at all necessary. Listen to your body and eat what it wants today, with the exception of fried and salty. If the morning is darkened by weather or other unpleasantness, remember something funny or pleasant. Following this rule, my every morning is good!
