Many men experience a morning erection every morning. At the outset, one very important thing should be clarified – it applies to everyone. Both young boys and older, mature men. Although it may still be taboo in Poland, in fact all men could say a lot about it.

Surely, many times every man has wondered where this phenomenon comes from. There are many theories about this. Among other things, it is caused by pressure on the spinal cord, which is caused by a full bladder. It is supposed to be a protection, thanks to which a man will not urinate while sleeping. This theory, however, is not very credible, after all, even during the day it often happens to have a full bladder, and at the same time there is no erection.

Another theory is that the cause is a dream that is currently in the REM phase. During this phase, the body does not secrete the right dose of noradrenaline, but testosterone comes to the fore. That’s when you get an erection while you sleep. It is worth noting here that women may have, by analogy, the so-called “clitoral erection”.

It is during the REM phase that most awakening occurs. This is why it is very common for a man to wake up and have an erection. Very often, this phenomenon makes it difficult to urinate in the morning.

A morning erection indicates that a man is healthy and full of vitality. This is a completely natural phenomenon and it is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. It most often occurs between 4:00 and 8:00 in the morning, as evidenced by doctors. The specific time of its appearance depends on the individual circumstances of each man, so it is difficult to give a more precise time.

Answering the question of whether the morning erection is a disturbing phenomenon, it should be noted that it is completely the opposite. It is its notorious lack that should be a cause for concern, and when it happens more often, you should seek medical advice. Morning erection proves, above all, the full sexual performance of men. When it does not occur, it may mean impotence caused by a lack of sufficient testosterone or problems in the nervous system. It is also worth emphasizing, to reassure all concerned men, that not only the morning erection is not something abnormal. Doctors say that every man should have up to three erections a night.
