Disadvantages of Magarych devices
Thin walls and rough welding. The manufacturer obviously saved on the material. The thickness of the steel is only 1 mm. Although there are no serious complaints about the burning of the wort or deformation on the part of moonshiners. The seams in budget models are not processed very well and do not inspire confidence.
Insufficient refrigerator power. Due to the small number of turns, the coil does not cope well with cooling. As a result, productivity decreases and water consumption increases. This moment is noted by absolutely all buyers. They deal with the problem in different ways: someone screws in an additional refrigerator, someone performs the distillation more slowly, someone reduces the intensity of heating during the “collection of the“ body ”.
Ill-conceived design of dry steamers in cheap models. In many budget devices, there is no possibility of disassembly / removal of sedimentation tanks and a drain valve. They cannot be used to flavor alcohol.
Narrow neck and no safety valve. Even in modified models with an entrance extended to 10 cm, these shortcomings remain. And if a small neck only causes inconvenience when leaving, then the lack of a pressure relief valve seriously threatens safety.
Short warranty period. Defective exchange and warranty service are available only for 1 year.

Magarych Mashkovsky. One of the popular lines, including devices for 12, 15 and 20 liters. Compact device, trimmed with artificial leather, with two removable consecutive sukhoparniks (the upper one is collapsible). Models of 2017 are equipped with an expanded mouth and a thickened bottom. Productivity: 1,5 l/h. Cost: from 6 to 12 thousand rubles.
Magarych “Standard” and Magarych “Premium”. Budget models with a built-in bimetallic thermometer, a horizontal refrigerator and one steamer. In the first apparatus, the sump is integral, in the second – collapsible. The lack of a drain cock in the steamer and the narrow mouth of the tank (7,5 cm) complicate the work. Available in 12 and 20 liter options. Cost: from 5 to 7,5 thousand rubles. Productivity: 0,8 l/h.
Magarych “Derevensky”. An apparatus with a coil to be cooled in a bucket. Suitable for use in the country and or in the village, where there is no running water. To get the best quality product, you need to constantly change the water in the tank. Can work on any stove (except induction) or wood. There is no dryer, but there is a built-in thermometer. Tank options: 12 and 20 liters. Productivity: 0,8 l/h. Cost: 4-5 thousand rubles.
Magarych “Narodny”. Affordable distiller with flow-through cooler and one removable dryer. The most popular model of the brand. It is supplied with the built-in bimetallic thermometer and a 12-liter tank. Cost: 5-5,7 thousand rubles. Productivity: 0,8 l/h.
Magarych “Econom”. The cheapest apparatus of the manufacturer with a minimum of elements: it consists of a distillation cube for 7 or 12 liters, a steam line and a flow-through cooler. Cost: from 2 to 3,5 thousand rubles. Productivity: 0,8 l/h.
Magarych “Export”. A more thoughtful model with a reflux condenser, which allows you to improve the quality of the product. Different tank sizes are available: 12, 15, 20 and 30 liters. The cost of the device is quite high: a minimum of 8,5 thousand rubles for small cubes with basic equipment, a maximum of 13,5 thousand rubles for large ones with full equipment. Can be used on gas and electric stoves. The declared productivity is up to 3 l/h.
Magarych “Exclusive”. One of the premium category versions, equipped with a dual cooling system, glass diopters for observation, built-in thermometers and pressure gauge. The drawer side diameter is 3,8 cm. The device is luxuriously decorated and comes with a flask and stainless steel shot glasses. Thanks to a well-thought-out purification system, multiple distillation of the product is not required. The cost is 24 thousand rubles. Productivity – 2,5 l / h. Tank volume – 15 l.
Brazha column “Magarych” “X”. It can be used to obtain pure alcohol and fruit distillates. Works in several modes: rectification, distillation and strengthening. The cost is 14,5 thousand rubles. Equipped with a drawer with a diameter of 3,8 cm, a tank of 20 liters, a high-quality refrigerator and a dephlegmator.
Electric devices Magarych “Export 13 CLAMP-TEN” and Magarych “TURBO 100”. The devices are equipped with heating elements, a capacious tank of 13 liters and have high productivity – up to 3,5 l / h. The cost of the first option is 14-15 thousand rubles, the second – 10 thousand. Distillers can be used anywhere where there is access to electricity.

Consumers evaluate ChZBT products differently. The average rating of the manufacturer’s devices ranges from 3 to 4 points. Among the reviews there are many positive ones: “high-quality and simple to disgrace”, “really excellent device”, “simplicity, functionality, the right value for money”, “beautiful”, “a source of high-quality and cheap alcohol for home use”, etc.
There are also negative ones: “poor quality of welding, thin metal”, “there are other manufacturers with a more responsible approach to the products offered”, “the tank does not close hermetically, the neck is narrow”, “the coil is too small, the dry steamer is not thought out”, “increased water consumption, little productivity.
Absolutely all buyers are dissatisfied with the operation of the refrigerator in budget versions, which is why it is necessary to slow down the distillation speed. The manufacturer tries to correct the rest of the shortcomings in new models. In principle, the device is not bad for beginners and justifies its price, experienced distillers prefer something more productive and of high quality. Elite options are not in special demand among Russian moonshiners.
