Moonshine from unusual raw materials: 6 recipes at home

The classic methods for making mash from cereals, sugar, fruits and starch are known even to beginner moonshiners.

But, in addition to popular methods, there are more extravagant ones. We will not consider the extreme option with a two-hour dangling of the mixture in the “washer”: the result is unlikely to please you. But recipes from original raw materials can be interesting from an experimental point of view and offer unbeaten tastes.

Moonshine “Wine”

Up to 3 liters of drink comes out as a result.

Ingredients

  1. Yeast – ½ kg

  2. Wine – 10 l

Method of preparation

  1. Introduce yeast into the wine, cover the container with gauze.

  2. Keep the composition warm for about 1 week, send for distillation.

Moonshine “Candy”

The result is 5 liters of an alcoholic product.

Ingredients

  1. Caramel with liquid filling – 5 kg

  2. Yeast – 0,23 kg

  3. Water – 20 L

Method of preparation

  1. Soften candies in warm water.

  2. Introduce yeast into the sweet mass.

  3. Wait 5 days, do a distillation.

Moonshine “On honey”

7 liters of drink can be obtained in this way.

Ingredients

  1. Honey – 3 kg

  2. Yeast – 0,3 kg

  3. Water – 24 L

  4. Sugar syrup – 3 l

Ingredients

  1. Dilute sweet ingredients in water, add softened yeast.

  2. Let stand warm for up to 1 week, overtake.

Moonshine “Flower”

For re-distillation, the first moonshine with a strong odor is taken, the rest is not used.

Ingredients

  1. Rose petals – any quantity

  2. Salt – by volume of raw materials

  3. Water is proportional

  4. Sugar to taste

Method of preparation

  1. Crush the pink mass, put it in a suitable container, cover with a layer of salt.

  2. Put a damp cloth on top, secure with a wooden lid with oppression.

  3. Leave the petals until the decay processes begin (about 7 weeks).

  4. Put the mass into a cube, pour in water in an amount corresponding to the volume of the flower mixture, mix the contents, make a double distillation.

  5. Sweeten the drink, filter.

Moonshine “Tomato-foamy”

Approximately 7,5 liters of product will come out.

Ingredients

  1. Tomato paste – 1 l

  2. Sugar – 11 kg

  3. Beer – 1,7 l

  4. Water – 32 L

Method of preparation

  1. Dissolve the paste in water, pour in beer, sweeten.

  2. Leave warm until the fermentation processes are completed, overtake the mixture.

Moonshine “Halvichny”

You will get about 10 liters of product.

Ingredients

  1. Yeast – 0,15 kg

  2. Halva – 5 kg

  3. Mint – 10 g

  4. Water – 9-10 l

Method of preparation

  1. Dissolve halva in warm water, add soaked yeast, throw in a couple of sprigs of mint.

  2. Infuse the solution for 8-9 days, send for distillation.
