Preparation:

  1. Rinse the melon thoroughly under running water, wipe with a disposable cloth. Cut the fruit into two parts and remove the seeds. Leave the peel. Cut the melon so that its pieces can fit into the neck of the bottle.

Ingredients:

  • 20 kg of melon;
  • 250 g of compressed yeast;
  • 2 drops of ammonia;
  • 2 kg of granulated sugar.

Preparation:

  2. Juice is squeezed out of the pulp. Pour sugar into the resulting liquid and stir until completely dissolved.

  • 250 g of cane sugar;
  • melon;
  • 0,5 liters of moonshine;
  • 0,5 liters of filtered water.

Preparation:

  1. The melon is peeled, the seeds are removed. The pulp is finely chopped.
  2. Pieces of fruit are placed in a suitable container and poured with moonshine so that it completely covers the pulp.
  3. Cover loosely and leave in a dark, cool room for a week.
  4. After the allotted time, the liquid is filtered and placed in the refrigerator. Pour 100 g of sugar into the pulp, stir and leave for three days so that the crystals dissolve completely.
  5. Strain the syrup, add the remaining sugar. The pulp is poured with water, mixed and squeezed out the resulting mass into syrup. The liquid is slightly warmed up so that the sugar dissolves completely. Cool and combine with moonshine from the refrigerator. Before drinking, the drink is kept for a month.

  4. When the output strength falls below 45 degrees, the selection of the main product is completed. Ready-made moonshine from melon is diluted with water up to 40%. Before use, it is kept for 3 days in a dark, cool room, poured into glass containers and hermetically sealed.

Terms and conditions of storage

Moonshine from melon, prepared according to all the rules, based on natural ingredients, with a strength of at least 50 degrees, can be stored for 5 years or more. The drink should be poured into glass containers with a tight-fitting lid. The temperature in the room for storing alcohol should not exceed 15 °C.
