The production of apple moonshine is one of the solutions that will help the owners of a large number of fruits, process excess or spoiled fruits.

The distillate, which is made on the basis of apple puree or juice, has a pronounced, mild apple aroma in its finished form and does not have a cloying aftertaste. For the manufacture of fruit moonshine, any variety of apples is suitable, and it doesn’t matter what time of the year this process is carried out. When sweet fruits are used, the production of an alcoholic beverage without sugar is practiced; in the case of working with sour apples, sugar is indispensable.

Ingredients

  1. Apples – 30 kg

  2. Sugar – 4 kg

  3. Yeast – 100 g

  4. Water – 20 L

Method of preparation

  1. Do not wash the fruits, wipe them with a dry cloth, remove the stones, cut out the cores, crumble into small pieces.

  2. Then the apples must be chopped until smooth.

  3. Pour the gruel from the fruit into a can and pour water, stir.

  4. Dissolve the yeast in warm water, stir the mixture well and pour into a can.

  5. Seal the can and place in a warm, dark place. Fermentation will take about 10 days.

  6. The fact that the mash is ready for distillation is evidenced by its light color and the absence of bubbling. This means that the liquid can be drained and recycled into a moonshine still.

  7. When carrying out the distillation process, it is important not to forget that you need to separate the first and last 250 – 300 grams of alcohol, they have a bad effect on the smell and quality of moonshine.

Apple pomace moonshine recipe

Ingredients

  1. Apple cake – 10 kg

  2. Sugar – 5 kg

  3. Water – 35 L

  4. Pressed yeast – 350 g

Method of preparation

  1. Apple cake, which was obtained as a result of squeezing the juice, should be placed in a container for making mash.

  2. Heat the purified water a little and pour the cake with it.

  3. Dissolve sugar separately in water, let it dissolve completely and pour into a common tank.

  4. Separately, according to the instructions, yeast is diluted and poured into the wort. After that, the entire mash mass must be thoroughly mixed.

  5. The container is tightly sealed and sent to a warm place. The temperature in the storage room should not exceed 28 degrees. During the first five days, apple infusion must be stirred occasionally. The duration of the entire fermentation period is about a week.

  6. Ready mash should be passed through gauze several times. After that, you can fill the moonshine still and distill the distillate.

Moonshine recipe from apples without yeast

Ingredients

  1. Sweet apples – 10 kg

  2. Sugar – 3 kg

  3. Raisins – 100 g

  4. Water – 3 L

Method of preparation

  1. Apples are wiped with a dry towel, it is strictly forbidden to wash the fruits, as there are wild yeasts on the peel. The core of the fruit is cut out and the seeds are selected.

  2. Using a grater, the fruits are ground into a puree and pour 1,5 liters of water into it.

  3. Then 1 kg of sugar is added to the mixture, everything is mixed. The blank is left in a warm room for 48 hours.

  4. After the raw material begins to ferment, the rest of the sugar, water are added to it and raisins are poured. Then the container is sealed and left until fermentation is completed.

  5. The finished mash is distilled and diluted with purified water.

Ingredients

  1. Apple juice – 15 l

  2. Sugar – 3 kg

  3. Honey

  4. Lemon Zest

  5. Wine yeast (dry) – 20 g

Method of preparation

  1. Squeeze apple juice and let it sit for a couple of days.

  2. Separate the liquid from the sediment, add sugar and pour in the diluted yeast.

  3. In the mixture, to taste, add a little honey and lemon zest.

  4. Store the resulting mass in a dark place for a month, shaking regularly.

  5. Ready mash can be distilled.
