It is better to overtake a low-quality product immediately, because the above methods mainly mask bitterness, change the sensations when used. The two basic ways are to acidify or sweeten the drink.

The best way to soften moonshine
This method will help remove substances that are bitter, with ends. To make a special fixture for this method, cut off the bottom of a 5-liter bottle, draw a scale with a volume for further control of the speed. Optimal 600-700 ml per hour. Insert a fitting with a silicone tube into the lid. On it, install any clamping device so that the alcohol flows in a trickle.
Place the device in an upright position. Adjust the height of the falling jet to 50–60 cm. Dilute the alcohol with a margin for the loss of strength: 0,5% will go in one drop. Carry out the procedure 2-4 times, in the process you can try. Keep in a glass container for a week.
Sweetening moonshine
Don’t go overboard with glycerin. You need to start with a teaspoon, if not enough, add more.
Ingredients (sweet version of your choice)
Cane sugar – 1 tablespoon (or)
Fructose – ½ tablespoon (or)
Honey – 1 tablespoon (or)
Glucose (dextrose) – 1 teaspoon (or)
Glycerin – 3-5 ml (1 teaspoon)
Ascorbic acid – 1 tablet
Method of preparation

Honey and soda
Ingredients
Honey – 2 tablespoons
Soda – 2 pinches
Method of preparation
Melt the honey over a fire until a homogeneous caramelized state. Stir.
Add soda. Keep interfering.
Turn off the fire. Heat until dark brown.
Pour in 200 g of alcohol. Blend until smooth brew.
Let cool.
Can be mixed with moonshine.
Experiment field
If in doubt about whether you will like the product at the end, take about 100 ml of distillate and add just a little bit of sugar, lemon or whatever you like. Mix well, leave for 5 minutes and try. Ideal proportions can only be found out by trial and error.
