- adults and children over 12 years of age – two spray applications in each nostril once a day. When symptoms begin to improve, the dose may be reduced. If there is no improvement, the dose can be increased to a maximum of 4 applications in each nostril a day;
- children aged 3-12 – most often, the doctor recommends using 1 dose in each nostril once a day;
- polypy nose – two applications for each nostril once a day. The dose can be increased after 5-6 weeks, as long as it does not improve to two applications twice a day. If there is still no improvement, your doctor may consider changing your treatment.
Medicines containing mometasone also include, for example, Nasometin or Elosone.
Momester – precautions
Momester should be used with caution in people with active tuberculosis, inactive tuberculous respiratory infections, untreated fungal, bacterial or viral systemic infections.
