Composition
A cream for daily use should contain:
– anti-inflammatory substances that prevent the spread of bacteria;
– matting components that eliminate excess sebum;
– sebum-regulating substances that reduce the production of sebum.
We recommend creams with vitamins A and E, natural antiseptics – calendula, tea tree or chamomile, which soothe irritated skin. In the composition of a cream for problem skin, it is desirable to have moisturizing substances, such as, for example, NMF (natural moisturizing factor), which help to maintain the moisture balance. These include hyaluronic acid, lactic acid, fructose, free amino acids.
Since the right cream for problem skin must fight inflammation, enlarged pores and oily sheen, it must contain acids that will provide the skin with a mild exfoliation effect. Glycolic acid helps to remove dead skin cells from the surface of the skin. Lipo-hydroxy acid (LHA) corrects skin imperfections, has antibacterial and sebum-regulating effects, controls the sebaceous glands and moisturizes the skin. And salicylic acid gently removes dead cells and has an antibacterial effect.
Texture
Owners of oily skin, when choosing a care product, often face a big problem – an uncomfortable texture. One thought of using dense creams for problem skin owners seems unbearable. Then the means of non-greasy, light textures come to the rescue, interacting with which the oily skin of the face is much more pleasant. There are moisturizers and gel-based lotions that have a liquid consistency so they absorb quickly – ideal for the summer. For less comfortable weather, a medium-weight cream is suitable. Among the comfort products with a light, fresh texture is Vichy’s Normaderm Global. The cream not only delicately moisturizes the skin, but is also an ideal base for makeup – the foundation does not roll, and imperfections are eliminated and invisible. In addition, the product provides a long-lasting mattifying effect.
Moisturizing properties
A properly selected cream for problem skin should eliminate inflammation, but in no case dry the skin. However, to get rid of the oily sheen, problem skin owners use too many cleansing and pore-tightening products, which ultimately dry out the skin and contribute to more oil production and acne. A good cream should not only defat the skin, but also maintain the protective hydrolipid layer, and therefore the natural level of hydration. Otherwise, you can disrupt the protective hydrolipid film – provoke inflammation and dehydration.
Problematic skin requires the most complex care, although today facial skin care manufacturers can easily cope with this task. Vichy Laboratories present the Normaderm Global innovation – a unique product that can globally heal the skin. Normaderm Global Moisturizing Treatment for Problem Skin is based on the action of a dermatological peeling and is aimed at overall skin health, and not at correcting individual imperfections. The tool acts on all signs of problem skin, namely, it reduces redness, eliminates inflammation and traces of acne, removes oily sheen, shrinks pores and makes the complexion even. A novelty from Vichy is a global remedy for problem skin imperfections. It is so delicate that it is suitable even for sensitive skin. The cream is hypoallergenic, paraben free and dermatologically tested. The active ingredients of Normaderm Global effectively fight skin problems, while VICHY SPA Thermal Water soothes and regenerates it. After a month of using Normaderm Global, the skin of the face is transformed: 64% of inflammatory elements disappear, the microrelief of the skin is leveled, and the pores are narrowed.
