– I am very picky about body creams. In addition, I immediately say goodbye to products that leave stickiness or roll off, the aroma of the cream is important to me. Sweet, berry, fruit, candy – there are at least 10 of these on my shelf.

Expectations: I am a supporter of the fact that a product for 500 rubles can be better than what is sold for 5000. And this has been proven more than once (read our selection about 18 mass-market products that are cooler than a luxury suite). The product contains strawberry juice and a phyto extract of lemon balm leaves, which promise to turn the skin into silk.

Reality: first, of course, the aroma captivates! The very smell of strawberries, which is terribly lacking in the cold season.

The product has a light texture: something between cream and serum. After a few seconds, the aqua serum is absorbed and leaves only a subtle scent.

No stickiness! Even after applying the product in three layers, it did not leave an unpleasant film. The product from Pure Line really moisturizes the skin and removes tightness, which is so important in winter.

Rating: 10 of 10 points. A product for 150 rubles can easily compete with luxury creams.

Expectations: the active ingredients of the product are kelp extract, shea butter, vitamin E, minerals and trace elements of marine origin. Studying the composition, I immediately realized that I would not hear my favorite berry or candy sweet aroma in this body cream.

Reality: the heating system was turned on in our office, and the skin begins to dry out from the lack of moisture and oxygen. The first thing that bribed me in the means of the French brand was stickiness, or rather, its absence. The body cream is instantly absorbed into the skin and compensates for the lack of moisture.

I used the product for a week and found that the cream nourishes and nourishes the skin: my hands became velvety, like after a “liquid glove”. The only thing that confused me was the aroma: after listening to the smell for a long time, I came to the conclusion that it reminds me of my grandmother’s cream from childhood.

Rating: 8 of 10 points. I took off two points at once for the price and scent, but lovers of “green” scents will like it.

– Of course, I know firsthand about the Lush brand. But, to be honest, I have never used his funds. Only on our editorial distribution, when I saw a lonely jar of Dream Cream body cream, I decided to take it for myself. First of all, I was attracted by the pleasant herbal aroma of the beauty product.

Expectations: before starting to use the cream, I googled it, having studied the ingredients and properties. The manufacturer writes that the product soothes and nourishes the skin, and only natural ingredients are used in its composition, including oat milk, rose water, organic olive oil, as well as cocoa butter, chamomile and tea tree. I really liked this information, but how are things really?

Reality: The texture of Dream Cream is quite thick, but very delicate, reminiscent of the sour cream sold by farmers. The cream spreads on the body very well, absorbs quickly enough and immediately leaves a light trail with notes of herbs, lavender and rose. After a few hours I touch my hand and feel that the skin is perfect: smooth and hydrated. All in all, Dream Cream really lives up to its name. This is a dream remedy for those who love organic products with subtle herbal scents.

And one more bonus that I cannot ignore: Lush products are not tested on animals!

Rating: 10 from 10… I only regret that I didn’t pay attention to Lush cosmetics before. But better late than never. I have already looked at several hair products on the brand’s website. I will try!

– At home and at work, they added heating: I felt it on my skin. And although I have it not prone to dryness, I want to be smeared with moisturizers in the morning and in the evening. I’m a pro when it comes to choosing body care products, so my test subjects were out of luck 🙂

VICHY IDEAL BODY serum-milk, 1500 rubles

Expectations: the word “serum” in the name already suggests something light, airy, so I did not expect the effect of nutrition. The active ingredients include soothing thermal water, 10 natural oils, hyaluronic acid, which retains moisture. Well, let’s try it out.

Reality: the first plus is a weak, unobtrusive smell. Second, the serum is really light and spreads over the body in a thin layer. In general, a rather pleasant remedy: the feeling of tightness of the skin after a shower disappeared immediately, it was quickly absorbed. But after 10 minutes, accidentally running my hand over my thigh, I found that the cream had rolled off. Oops! That’s right minus 3 points.

What I lacked: food, in winter I want something more fatty. After applying the product, the skin was smooth to the touch, but the feeling that it was well hydrated did not appear. I thought that VICHY IDEAL BODY would be perfect for morning procedures, when there is no time to wait for the cream to be absorbed, but you need to moisturize the body. This serum is instantly drawn in by the skin, so it does not stain clothes. For this, you can add a bold 1 point.

Evaluation: 8 out of 10. Absorption is very important, but in places the cream rolls off, which is completely unpleasant.

La Roche Posay, Lipikar Baume AP +, 1583 rubles

Expectations: products of this brand are very suitable for me. All winter I am saved by their hand cream CICAPLAST BAUME B5, which kept my hands soft and tender, despite my bad habit of typing SMS in the cold and wind. Therefore, I immediately reacted to this cream with great confidence.

The oil also contains niacinamide, which prevents the skin from losing its protective properties.

Reality: this cream is suitable even for babies, so you can safely use it, even if you are allergic. Most of all I was bribed by the absence of any fragrances – the cream is absolutely odorless. A convenient dispenser, so it is good to put on a bedside table and use it at any time. Pressed – and the cream is already in hand. It also distributed well and left a very pleasant sensation on the skin. But there is a big BUT: it is sticky. After applying, I ran to wash my hands and walked around the apartment until the cream was completely absorbed. To be fair, it happened pretty quickly.

Evaluation: 9 out of 10. The cream is really good, it nourishes the skin very well. But this stickiness spoils everything.

Clarins, Super Moisturizing Body Balm, 2060 рублей

Expectations: four things matter to me: good absorbency, feel on the skin, density and aroma. In that order. Clarins Baume Corps Super Hydratant Moisturizing Body Balm contains Shea Butter, Hawaiian Tung Oil, rich in saturated fatty acids, and orange blossom wax to restore the skin’s hydrolipidic balance. Well, promising. Let’s see how much it relieves me of the feeling of tightness in my skin.

Reality: I’ll tell you honestly and right away: despite the fact that I really love the Clarins brand, their moisturizer did not make any impression on me at all. There are such people, you know, you just scoop it up from the jar, and you already feel delight. And here – no delight. The texture is quite dense, but the cream spreads on the body easily. It is not absorbed instantly, but quickly enough. It really removes the feeling of tightness, but it is logical – you apply the cream. The question is how long the effect lasts. Clarins has a couple of hours.

But do you know what you wanted? To apply this wonderful cream with a pleasant aroma and a bunch of oils in the composition, and the skin is velvety. This sensation – the softness, velvety of the skin – was sorely lacking. I’ll keep the cream, however, but it won’t be my daily skincare routine. I will take it to the gym and use it after the pool. I seem to be still looking for my perfect remedy.

Rating: 7 out of 10. For insufficient moisture.

– I started using creams and body lotions regularly relatively recently. Unfortunately, the inspiration came to me only a couple of months ago. But since then I have been using creams and lotions almost every day, which is infinitely happy not only for me, but also for my skin.

Expectations: I have never used Elemis cosmetics, so I didn’t even know what to expect. True, according to numerous reviews of friends and on the network, I realized that the brand is quite good. I chose the Botanical cream based on its scent: I liked the herbal aroma very much. The manufacturer claims that the product will moisturize, soothe and restore the skin, as well as relieve irritation and give radiance.

The list of ingredients was fine for me: lavender and chamomile herbal oils, geranium and palmarose essential oils, milk proteins and organic oat extract. At the same time, the brand does not classify itself as organic, but rather produces high-quality products that work on the basis of natural ingredients.

Reality: Elemis cream has a pleasant texture that more closely resembles thick milk. The product is rich and economical, easily spreads over the skin. And the smell! It’s just some kind of magic! At first it seems a little harsh, but after about ten minutes only a slight trace of it remains on the skin, completely unobtrusive, but very pleasant and noble. I didn’t argue with my perfume. But I warn you: not everyone will like herbaceous, slightly medicinal notes. As for the effect. To be honest, I didn’t have enough of it. In the fall and winter, I would like more moisture. Despite the fact that my skin cannot be called dry. I think it’s perfect for the summer or for moisturizing in the evening – the scent is very relaxing and soothing. The reviews did not disappoint: Elemis cosmetics are really worthy of attention. Now I would like to try other lines for the body.

Rating: 9 from 10 for insufficient moisture. However, I use it with pleasure, so I would gladly buy another bottle for the summer.

– Bright sun, salty sea water, wind … After the holidays, our skin is in dire need of special care and attention. Therefore, spa treatments and subsequent hydration are essential. As an additional care, I undertake to try Darphin moisturizing body lotion on myself, because I heard about its miraculous properties from colleagues.

Expectations: cream for 2,5 thousand rubles? In fact, the amount is not that big for high quality cosmetics. The manufacturers of the product promise that after the first application, the skin becomes soft and silky. Thanks to its light texture, the lotion is instantly absorbed without leaving any marks on clothes. And another important point: the product does not contain parabens! If you don’t already know, this is a preservative used in the cosmetics industry to extend the shelf life of a product. Paraben is harmful in that it tends to accumulate in the body and subsequently cause the appearance of malignant cells, simply speaking, cancer!

Reality: stylish pink bottle and fragrant cream inside. The flower scent is subtle, so it does not irritate or draw attention to itself. I apply it on the body immediately after the bath procedures and immediately feel that the feeling of tightness after hard water begins to leave. The cream is quickly absorbed into the skin. And I see the first effect the next morning. The skin looks healthy and moisturized, the hands seem velvety at all.

Evaluation: 10 of 10. The tool met all my expectations.

– I will not say that I am a big fan of body creams, but from time to time I try to use such products to keep the skin hydrated and healthy in general.

Expectations: I was not familiar with the Spanish brand SesDerma Laboratories before and I heard for the first time about such a cosmetic product as body milk for atopic dermatitis. Therefore, I approached testing this product with caution. First, I studied all the reviews and recommendations and only then started using it.

Reality: in fact, this cosmetic product can be attributed more to a treatment line than a care product. According to the manufacturers, this product was developed taking into account the characteristics of the skin associated with atopic dermatitis, therefore it is able to solve the problems of dryness, flaking and protection from UV radiation. The milk formula contains jojoba oil, antioxidant vitamin E, grape leaf extract, Boswellia serrata resin, triclosan and other components that have a cosmetic and therapeutic effect. My skin is very sensitive and dry, so the cream perfectly soothes, moisturizes, protects and does not cause unpleasant sensations. The milk is not greasy in consistency, but rather watery, therefore it is absorbed very quickly and leaves no residue. The product can be applied to the skin several times a day as needed. It was enough for me once a day, before going to bed. I was also impressed by the fact that the product is in a large convenient bottle (400 ml) with a dispenser, so the consumption is very economical.

Rating: 10 from 10, I will definitely purchase something else from this cosmetic line.

Expectations: I have known the Kiehl’s brand for a long time, but I was able to try this brand’s body cream for the first time. Honestly, I did not understand why Western stars and bloggers sing praises to this product and consider it one of the brand’s hits. Since I had not used this tool before, I believed that it was one of many, and nothing more. Frankly, I’m glad I was wrong!

Reality: I will say right away, I just fell in love with this product after the first use! The cream not only perfectly moisturizes the skin, making it soft, but also creates a stunning visual effect. After using this product, which has a greasy texture and a subtle herbal scent, the skin looks healthy and radiant.

The cream is very thick and more like a lotion in texture, but it is absorbed quickly enough and does not leave greasy marks on clothes. The product, which contains beta-carotene, squalane and nourishing oils, is perfect for those with dry, sensitive skin, and will be simply indispensable in cold weather, when the skin needs special care and moisturizing.

Another undoubted advantage for me is the rather economical consumption of the product (large-volume bottles, for example 500 ml, are equipped with a special dispenser that allows you to squeeze out as much cream as you need for one application). And, of course, those who do not like harsh obsessive odors will appreciate the pleasant delicate aroma of the undoubted hit of the Kiehl’s brand.

Evaluation: 10 of 10! I am already ready to buy this cream in larger bottles!

– Nivea is childhood memories: mother’s locker, secret procedure … The smell immediately makes you remember the winter, a warm apartment and cozy evenings with your parents. And also those cute limited edition bunny packs of theirs! I couldn’t resist testing this cream again.

Expectations: in the memories it remains that this cream should be super nutritious, even oily. The formula of the product has not changed for many years and remains unique; only unique components are used in its production. For example, glycerin (responsible for moisturizing), panthenol (a beauty vitamin that promotes the regeneration of skin cells, perfectly nourishes and quickly relieves irritation) and eucerite (a component related to the skin that helps it retain moisture and remain elastic).

Reality: everything remained as before – the box, the smell. Such a natural smell, without any fragrances. But I do not remember having such difficulties with application. The structure itself is very dense, but this is not noticeable in any way when you treat small areas of the skin with the cream. Well, for example, you smear your hands. But if you feel like moistening your whole body like me, get ready to suffer. It stretches very poorly on the skin, you have to apply in small portions, which, of course, takes time.

In addition, whatever one may say, but this beautiful box is not very convenient: when your hands are in cream, try to twist it. Slips out all the time.

Rating: 8 out of 10. The cream coped with the main task: it perfectly nourishes and moisturizes the skin in late autumn and winter; I’m sure he will be especially in demand with me. I took off points for the inconvenience in use. This, you see, is also a very important point.

– I have never come across products of this brand before. When Corine de Farme body milk fell into my hands, I immediately thought that it should be good, taking into account the price, pleasant appearance and natural composition of the product. In addition, you will have a choice, since below I told about my acquaintance with another EGIA brand body lotion.

Expectations: behind the shoulders of the French brand Corine de Farme more than 30 years of successful work. Its range covers skin and hair care products for the entire family. The products contain no synthetic products and petroleum products, they are hypoallergenic, at least 95% of the ingredients are of natural origin and are biodegradable, and the packaging is recyclable.

In addition, the company has developed a whole complex of plant antioxidants (lychee extracts, cranberry seed oil and white tea) that prevent skin aging. And I am a person who looks at natural cosmetics with great interest and curiosity. Therefore, I was initially set on the fact that the effect of the milk will pleasantly please me.

Reality: the milk is suitable for all skin types, has a pleasant aroma, rather liquid texture. It spreads easily over the skin and is absorbed, which pleases. Does not leave a greasy film feeling. The product moisturizes and nourishes the skin well throughout the day.

If you, like me, have dry skin, then this moisturizing lotion is just what you need. It contains ingredients of plant origin and they will not only moisturize your skin, but also restore it. The lotion was developed under the close supervision of dermatologists and pharmacists, therefore the composition of this product is exclusively natural and safe. Expectations: standard: nutrition, hydration, comfort.

Reality: I don’t know if the whole line of products has such a smell, but this cream has it divine. I am not a fan of today’s popular gourmet flavors, and in general I have a cool attitude to vanilla-chocolate-caramel flavors. But this Caribbean vanilla smells natural and politically correct, no associations with the pastry shop. In addition to the olfactory pleasure, the cream did a very good job with its main functions: it was quickly absorbed into the skin without leaving a sticky or oily feeling, after 5 minutes you can safely dress. The next morning, the skin remained soft and hydrated.

Rating: 10 from 10, I will definitely try something else from Perlier.
