This happened around February. I realized that my rather oily skin, in general, began to peel off a lot. Thanks to the prickly winds and heating. Had to look for a good moisturizer. So Vichy Aqualia Thermal ended up on the shelf in the bathroom.

What do they promise:

The composition contains thermal water and hyaluronic acid, due to which the moisturizing effect lasts, as the manufacturers promise, for 48 hours. Plus, these same ingredients soothe the skin and protect against environmental influences.

What really:

The texture of the cream is unusual – such a light transparent gel. The smell for me personally is not very pleasant – as if with an alcohol perfume, although there is nothing like this in the composition.

The gel is pleasant to apply and is instantly absorbed. But on the face as if a thin film is formed – you know, such an uncomfortable feeling, as if the skin was even pulled together. But this feeling passes quickly.

I apply the cream in the evening. And in the morning the skin actually looks good – no unpleasant sensations, no peeling. The color is even. But for some reason there is no enthusiasm for it – all the same, I really want to apply something nourishing to the skin so that it immediately comes to life. I have a suspicion that Vichy Aqualia Thermal should be left for the summer – in the heat it will be perfect.

I must say, my skin has a lot of problems. Inflammatory elements, redness, vascular reticulum, oily sheen, peeling – in a word, a complete set of capricious mixed skin. I confess that I thoroughly ruined it with one pharmacy cream with acids, and a little later – with creams with silicones and other chemicals. Perhaps that is why I considered the only correct decision in this situation to switch to natural cosmetics, which a priori contain neither silicones, nor artificial preservatives, nor sulfates.

However, choosing the perfect cream without any nasty things turned out to be not an easy task. I became allergic to some natural ingredients, while others mercilessly clogged pores and caused inflammation on my face. Through trial and error, I found several of the most suitable options for myself, one of which was the cream of the French brand Patyka “Tea Tree”.

What they promise:

It is formulated for normal to combination skin. According to the manufacturer, it gently moisturizes the skin, restores its balance and is an excellent makeup base. If I would argue with the last point, then I agree with the rest one hundred percent.

In the composition, you can find mint essential oil (heals, tones and oxygenates the skin), tea tree essential oil (removes toxins and restores balance), witch hazel (has an astringent effect).

What actually:

Of the advantages of this remedy: it really moisturizes well (even in the cold season), mattifies for several hours, heals inflammations. I used this cream for a couple of months and noticed a really visible result: acne and redness became much less, they almost disappeared; the skin became even, well hydrated. It seems that my skin has even ceased to be so reactive: it really calmed down, not to say that it became perfect, but it has changed significantly. Among other things, the cream is very pleasant to apply. One or two drops are enough for the whole face. I use it like this: rub it a little between my fingers and apply it with a patting motion, avoiding the eye area. You shouldn’t even try to rub it in like a usual cream – white stains will remain.

Not without its drawbacks. Firstly, the cream can hardly be called a perfect makeup base. Like any other mattifying product, it rolls off slightly when it comes into contact with foundation. And this despite the fact that I only use compact powder. Another inconvenience is an extremely ill-conceived bottle. Patyka brand specialists are proud of their jars and bottles. Thanks to a special feeding system, the cream or serum does not come into contact with the atmosphere, and therefore is protected from bacteria. I must say that this system does not work, at least in the case of tea tree cream. Somewhere in the middle of the bottle, the dispenser refuses to spit out the lotion, and you have to unscrew it and reach into the bottle with your fingers. True, for the sake of such a miraculous effect, I am ready to be patient.

My skin is prone to oily, slight but regular breakouts and redness. The search for the right moisturizer almost always ended not very well for me … Too intense moisturizing made my skin too shiny, and all day I suffered from an unpleasant shine in the T-zone, in addition, often such creams could only aggravate the rash.

Other creams simply did not give any effect – that is, that it exists, that it does not exist – I simply did not feel the difference. Unless the evening ritual in the bathroom was observed. Having received a light moisturizer from Sothys for testing, I had little idea that any amazing metamorphosis could happen to my face.

What actually:

A little about texture and aroma: what I liked was the neutral scent without strong fragrances. I don’t like bright scents that can sound stronger than the scent of my perfume, and in this sense Energizing Day Cream did just five.

The pleasant light texture is quickly absorbed and does not leave a filmy or greasy feeling on the face. I applied the cream at night, since in the morning I have enough moisturizing makeup base, which I do not want to mix with other products.

Surprisingly, in the morning I noticed a pleasant transformation: my skin became softer and smoother. Of course, this product cannot replace (at least for my problem skin) the rest of my arsenal of beauty products, but as a moisturizer, Energizing Day Cream has become my absolute favorite!

I got the jelly by accident – since then, a nice gift has become a favorite treat for my skin. I confess that at first I was skeptical about its miraculous effect. Fight against pigmentation, even out skin tone, tighten pores, control sebium secretion, get rid of acne and post-acne – all these delights were promised by regular use of jelly. I don’t believe in advertising and beautiful words for a long time, so there was only one way left – to test the tool for myself. The purely practical desire for the experiment was supported by the novelty of the gift: I tried a lot of various moisturizing creams, and this was the first time I had jelly for the face. It was interesting to try an unusual remedy, especially since the brand is Japanese (and Asian girls know a lot about maintaining beauty).

What actually:

True, there was one “but” – the jelly was brightening, and I already have pale skin, except that a handful of freckles appear in the spring. So I didn’t really need the brightening effect, but it would be worth working with the pores. I want to say that after the first use I saw the result – literally it was on my face. My skin seemed to have rested and began to glow: the tone of my face evened out, the rashes became less, the pores were noticeably narrowed. I will not say that the skin has sharply lightened, but there was not even a trace of dark circles under the eyes – although nothing was said about this in the description. I could not believe my eyes: only one night passed – and such an effect! Magic, and more!

By the way, there is one caveat – since jelly refers to the final stage of care, it must be applied to all other products before bedtime. A kind of dessert at night: after the usual tonic, serum or cream (depending on what you use), apply jelly on top of these funds – and go to bed. While you sleep, the Japanese miracle system works on your transformation, so that in the morning your skin is perfectly hydrated and radiant with health.

Jelly has become my “magic wand”: if I go to bed late or get terribly tired during the day (or even slept for a couple of hours), and in the morning I need to look good, I always use Cefine Night White Gelee. In just one night, this jelly refreshes my skin so much that no trace of fatigue remains.

Its consistency is no less pleasant – a light, transparent jelly, similar to a gel, is practically imperceptible on the skin and is completely absorbed in a few minutes after application. True, I was somewhat scared off by the color of the product – bright yellow with specks, but the aroma of geranium was to my taste. Among the undoubted advantages is economical consumption. Although I use it several times a week, one jar lasts several months. And this is in view of the fact that, unlike many other moisturizers, jelly can be applied to the skin around the eyes! I can say that now I have my own beauty secret – the brightening jelly from Cefine.

For especially cautious natures, I present the composition of Night White Gelee: 3 types of vitamin C derivatives, astaxanthin – a strong antioxidant, arbutin, placental protein, 3 types of hyaluronic acid, unshiu citrus peel extract, extracts of medicinal herbs – saxifrage and white mulberry root, hauttuynia extract, extract royal jelly and natural geranium oil.

The only problem with my skin is lack of moisture. Therefore, it is important for me to use nutrients in winter, but in summer I prefer moisturizers.

Every time after washing off the makeup from my face, the feeling of dryness does not leave me, it comes to peeling of the skin in the chin and nasolabial folds. In general, as it should be with combination skin.

What they promise:

I am familiar with the Payot brand relatively recently, I started with Tonique Purifiant tonic and was satisfied. But I used Hydra 24 Light Multi-Hydrating Light Emulsion, 50 ml for the first time. The manufacturers of this popular French brand promise smoothing of fine wrinkles, a feeling of softness on the face and fresh, hydrated skin, even a certain radiance of the face, as well as a feeling of freshness and comfort of the skin during the day, since the hydro-drop system helps to control hydrolipid metabolism at all 3 levels of hydration. retaining moisture even in the deep layers of the skin. The composition contains biologically active components: Scutellaria Baikal root extract (regulates the flow of water and maintains the level of moisture), imperates (the red baron gives a regenerating mechanism) and honey extract (preserves moisture and moisturizes for 24 hours).

What actually:

In principle, manufacturers do not deceive, however, I do not know what about wrinkles – I have not noticed yet, but the feeling of softness and comfort is present. The texture of the cream is very light (it is a water emulsion), it is also very convenient to apply, the cream is quickly absorbed and there is no feeling of a film on the face. As a minus, it is too light for winter, this tool would be ideal for me in the warm season.

The smell, it should be noted, is very pleasant: with hints of honey and a slightly floral shade. It is quite convenient to use the tube itself, it is small, which is ideal for traveling to distant countries: you can take the product with you into the cabin of the plane. It is necessary to squeeze out quite a bit from the tube and apply it on the face with light movements, avoiding the area around the eyes, as experts warn. By the way, it is very important that this emulsion does not clog pores and holds makeup well. Therefore, she will definitely be on my table all summer.
