Miss HLS – 2017 secrets of harmony from Siberians

Ten Siberian women took part in an online project and told Woman’s Day how to make themselves go in for sports and what is the secret of perfect shape.

The choice of the participants of the online project was not accidental, all the contestants will take part in the festival of healthy lifestyle “Siberian Wave”, which will take place on July 15 on the embankment of the Ob River. This is a large-scale city event for sports lovers, proper but tasty food and people who lead an active lifestyle. Guests of the holiday will enjoy a bright show program, tasting of delicious and healthy food, culinary, sports and creative workshops, and the winners of the online voting will receive nice gifts from partners and sponsors of the festival.

Ekaterina Nikisheva, 27 years old, personal trainer

When and why did you come to a healthy lifestyle?

I do not just lead a healthy lifestyle, I am a professional athlete and have represented our country more than once at international competitions. And this a priori implies proper nutrition, regimen and high physical activity. I think I am lucky that since my youth I have tasted all the charm of a healthy lifestyle.

How do you keep yourself in shape?

I am always on the move, so I even prefer active rest. Regular workouts and balanced nutrition are the key to great health and a boost of vivacity for the whole day!

Do you often hear compliments from others?

I often receive compliments and words of admiration, because a beautiful athletic body stands out favorably even in everyday clothes.

Advice for beginners

Start small! Let it be a five-minute morning exercise or a short run. Step by step, you will begin to taste all the advantages of a healthy lifestyle, energy and a desire to change for the better will appear.

Galina Nosova, 34 years old, economist

When and why did you come to a healthy lifestyle?

I have always strived for this. My mother is a teacher of exercise therapy in a sanatorium, from childhood she instilled in me a love of exercise and hardening of the body. I learned not to overeat or take more medication than necessary. When I was young, I practiced taekwondo, and when I quit, I recovered a lot. She regained her shape at the age of 21, for the wedding. She gave birth to two children, adhered to proper nutrition during pregnancies, and became a vegetarian five years ago. A healthy lifestyle is a lifestyle, not a system for losing weight or an opportunity to improve health, and then return to bad habits again.

How do you keep yourself in shape?

I am familiar with many health systems. Intuitively, I only accept those that make me feel happy. I do yoga, Pilates, stretching, and sometimes attend aerial canvas classes. One of the key points is nutrition. I read a lot, I know a lot of diets, I give culinary master classes, I lead the VKontakte and Instagram groups. For myself, I chose the path indicated by Ayurveda. I do not like asceticism or outrageous restrictions, I just replace the harmful with the useful, analyzing which of the useful will make me happy. I will never eat, for example, a banana, if I want cottage cheese. Occasionally I can pamper myself and remember my childhood, having fried potatoes with mushrooms and washed it down with milk. 1-2 times a year, such deviations will not do much harm to my body. I don’t remember when I was last sick, I look younger than my age.

Do you often hear compliments from others?

Compliments are a separate topic. They write a lot to me on social networks, men confess their love. It’s amazing that every year they are younger. The most common comments are: “sexy”, “hot”, “sweet”, “amazing”. And the most memorable and creative ones are from Russian men: “If I had such legs, I would walk on my hands”, “You need to be cloned on a universal scale”.

Advice for beginners

The main thing is to start, carefully choose the sport that is right for you. Do not be afraid to make mistakes. And if you made a mistake and fell, then get up again and go forward. It is also important to find those whom you want to look up to. When there is an example in front of your eyes, there will always be motivation. There is so much information now! I subscribe in social networks to people who bring me inspiration, and I’m not afraid to unsubscribe from those who bring anxiety to my mind and incline to degradation. Favorite example from my beloved mother: be like a sponge – it quickly absorbs all the water, but with the effort of your mind, squeeze out everything unnecessary, dirty.

Olga Dyuseeva, 28 years old, accountant

When and why did you come to a healthy lifestyle?

Throughout my life, I keep up with a healthy lifestyle, while doing without fitness clubs and gyms. During her school years, she devoted eight years to dancing.

How do you keep yourself in shape?

Hiking, cycling, rollerblading, swimming pool. In summer, I enjoy playing volleyball on the beach. I fell in love with this sport since my school days.

Do you often hear compliments from others?

Often. Many people ask what course I am in, although I have not been a student for a long time. It turns out that I look much younger than my age, which, of course, is nice.

Advice for beginners

The main thing is to know when to stop in everything. There are small portions, sweet and starchy foods in the morning, do not overeat in the evening. Many, after returning from work, open the refrigerator and arrange a small holiday for themselves – hence the excess weight and problems with the figure. If you get yourself a dog, the problem of physical activity will go away by itself, because you need to walk with the dog.

Tatiana Stepakhina, 32 years old, business manager

When and why did you come to a healthy lifestyle?

A healthy lifestyle is a rather broad concept, it includes a lot of interrelated moments, which together help me to feel active, strong and happy. In his youth, he is satisfied with everything: weight, skin condition, speed of movement. Over time, you realize that the years go by, you want to keep yourself beautiful. This is how you think about the fact that only you can improve your health and only thanks to a healthy lifestyle.

How do you keep yourself in shape?

Sports activities, balanced nutrition, development of willpower and motivation. Keeping fit is a great bonus in life. You will not only look good and feel better, but you will also reduce your risks of many diseases. Regardless of your speed: walking, jogging or cycling are very important parts of a healthy lifestyle. Exercises that act on our muscles and stimulate blood circulation are very important processes in our body.

Do you often hear compliments from others?

Very often I accept compliments from others, with a slight smile and an answering “thank you”, regardless of who says them. And they say, for example:

“You are incredibly sexy!”

“Your playful look can drive anyone crazy”

“You are the most charming of all whom I have met!”

A healthy lifestyle, first of all, is human behavior aimed at strengthening immunity, preventing diseases and forming a satisfactory state of health. So go for it, start today, now. You will have no other time and life for this.

When and why did you come to a healthy lifestyle?

After the birth of my second child, I looked at myself in the mirror and was not inspired to see who I had become. Imagine, I have never played sports and changed my diet for the first time and went to the gym at the age of 30!

How do you keep yourself in shape?

I replaced mayonnaise and sour cream with white yogurt, sugar – with natural sweeteners. Sometimes, however, I allow myself to be weak. I regularly train in the gym with a trainer. Many thanks to the trainer for helping me create a nutrition program based on my needs and choosing the necessary fitness load.

Do you often hear compliments from others?

It happens. My friends often say: “Are you crazy, how much time can you spend in the hall?” However, when you see the result, you want to spend even more time there. Strangers are surprised when they find out that I have two children and an active lifestyle. Most often they ask: “How do I manage everything?” This is the most popular question. I think the main thing is the goal. My initial goal is to improve my health, then get in shape and subsequently become an example for my children.

Advice for beginners

Start small. From many I hear: “I’ll start tomorrow”, “I’ll wait for a friend”, “I’ll buy a suit and start training.” It was not easy for me to start my journey, at the age of 30 and the metabolism is different and the results do not come as quickly as at the age of 23-25. However, despite all external circumstances at any age and at any opportunity, the desired results can be achieved. And I am also a supporter of working on myself together with a trainer: he will draw up a nutrition program, training and support, where necessary. So go ahead for new achievements!

Alina Kupryashina, 22 years old, is a graduate student, works as an administrator and trainer in a sports club

When and why did you come to a healthy lifestyle?

I have been leading a healthy lifestyle since my parents started dancing at the age of 7. Even then I realized that movement and an active lifestyle are mine! I fell in love with sports and fitness four years ago, somehow accidentally tried it and started spinning.

How do you keep yourself in shape?

I try to eat right, although I am madly in love with sweets – I just have my own secrets, how not to get too much after that. A variety of workouts are required: gym, any fitness, boxing, or just long-distance walking. I train only for joy, with good health and with mood, about 1-3 times a week.

Do you often hear compliments from others?

Almost every day – about looks, shape or academic success. Praise from women is most pleasant, especially when it is sincere.

Advice for beginners

Start with yourself, set the pace, get others to move forward, be an example. And, of course, more movement and positivity!

Alena Ofitserova, 27 years old, masseur

When and why did you come to a healthy lifestyle?

An active lifestyle from childhood – hiking in the mountains, rafting, cycling, mountain skiing. After pregnancy and childbirth, it was necessary to restore the body, and 2,5 years ago I started active sports training. Participation in competitions has already become an “application”, because it has begun to work out.

How do you keep yourself in shape?

Powerlifting workout three times a week.

Do you often hear compliments from others?

Many people say: “You are a fragile girl and your image does not fit with the power sport.”

Advice for beginners

I often hear: “There is no time for training”, but this is not true. Tune in, start and everything will work out!

Svetlana Nikulina, 50 years old, head of the educational and methodological department

When and why did you come to a healthy lifestyle?

I have been drawn to active activity and a positive way of thinking since childhood! Before choosing any of the sports, I researched how suitable it is for me. Now, for example, if I can’t do some exercise (I’m uncomfortable or uncomfortable), I just don’t do it. It’s important to enjoy the process!

How do you keep yourself in shape?

I always choose what I like. I had a powerlifting coach, I was also fond of shaping, breathing exercises, meditation. It is important to choose a sport that will be comfortable. Now, for example, I like to wake up in the morning, open my eyes and do light gymnastics without getting out of bed. Very inspiring for new discoveries!

Do you often hear compliments from others?

Many people, when they find out how old I am, are surprised! They say I don’t look my age. I believe that life is just beginning at 50! I graduated from high school, got an education, got married and raised children. Then a new round, a new era, new boundaries and opportunities. I will also raise grandchildren and great-grandchildren, but I will not stop taking care of myself. There is so much to do in life!

Advice for beginners

It is never too late to turn the page, see a beautiful field, the sky, feel the light breeze and the joy of life. We have the right to be happy, to live in harmony with ourselves and the world around us. To start somewhere, you need to listen to yourself, not follow stereotypical thinking, but choose what is right for you.

Anna Kopylova, 27, business coach

When and why did you come to a healthy lifestyle?

It is difficult to name the exact date, sport has been present in my life for about seven years. During this time, there were periods when I practiced regularly, it happened that due to lack of time I missed training. As a rule, this is a gym, I have been dancing for a long time. As for healthy eating, I revised the diet about a year ago.

How do you keep yourself in shape?

I try to work out regularly in the gym, plus a balanced diet.

Do you often hear compliments from others?

Yes! I often hear “You look great!”, “Beautiful!”, “Pretty”. If we talk about the figure, then my waist and butt get compliments.

Advice for beginners

Recently, I have come across two categories of people: the first know exactly what they want to study and are engaged, for the second it is an imposed value, but they are also hard at work. The difference is that for the former sports is a pleasure and thrill from the process, while for others it is an opportunity to keep up with modern trends. I would like to wish newcomers to answer the question “What do I want?” And then go ahead. And remember, the secret to success is what you have to take and do. Remember the biographies of famous people … Perhaps they were wrong, perhaps more than once, but they never stopped and always went forward!

Lyudmila Pushkareva, 29 years old, housewife

When and why did you come to a healthy lifestyle?

I am for an active lifestyle. Since childhood, she was fond of sports, not professional, but for the soul. With the advent of my son, our whole family is participating in various kinds of competitions. A healthy lifestyle is an essential attribute of family happiness and well-being. Being healthy is a natural human desire, and physical education is a component of this. Our food should be our medicine.

How do you keep yourself in shape?

In winter, the whole family goes skiing and ice skating, playing hockey and swimming in the pool. In summer, autumn and spring we go in for dancing, jogging, cycling, football, fitness, and visit the gym. In addition, fishing, summer cottages, outdoor recreation are also joint family hobbies.

Do you often hear compliments from others?

The most important compliments are from my beloved husband and son. From the son: “Mom, you are a sweet strawberry!” (and strawberries are something the most delicious for him). From her husband: “You are my beautiful ass, swallow, ray, baby, kitty.”
