For example, Scandinavian-style mirrors are very popular today. They are a large reflective surface that often lacks a frame. If the latter is available, it is made in the most simple style.
The second way to decorate your home with mirrors is to hang small accessories on the wall in fancy, showy frames. In this case, they will look like paintings, and the reflectivity will make the room brighter. A composition of several mirrors in large frames is perfect for decorating a bedroom or living room.
Various design methods allow you to organically fit mirrors into the space of almost any room. By correctly placing accessories, you can make the room brighter or visually larger.
The third way to decorate is mirrors, “crushed” into several pieces. An accessory of this kind looks very interesting and attractive, it resembles a work of modern art. The many asymmetrical reflective parts assembled into one whole are an interesting technique for modern designers. Such mirrors create a feeling of “immersion”, make the room visually deeper.
The fifth way to use mirrors in the interior is becoming more and more popular: the introduction of reflective surfaces into pieces of furniture. The least common use of mirrors is in the kitchen and in the nursery. In the first room, the accessory seems unnecessary. However, in practice, everything looks different: the mirror surface located between the cabinets and the cutting area allows you to significantly “expand” the room. Also, the fashionable technique of mirror mosaic will be relevant here.
A mirror in the nursery will add light to the room. To make it fit better, choose an accessory of a thematic shape: in the form of a sun, a bear, a bunny, etc. A special film glued to the reverse side should be a must: even if the mirror breaks, all the pieces will remain on it.
