Effect no — no

Miracle diets often boast of losing even several dozen kilos in a short time. This is tempting news, because who of us wants to wait a few months for spectacular results? However, it is worth remembering that patience pays off. Immediate weight reduction results in an even faster return of lost kilograms, and with a vengeance. The recommended weight loss per week is 0,5-1 kg. Then you have to wait a little longer for the effects, but it is much easier to maintain them.

Very low in calories

In miracle diets, the caloric content of meals is significantly reduced. Often these are diets limiting the energy supply to about 500 kcal per day, with the demand of 2000 kcal. No wonder they provide weight loss, but they also contribute to nutrient deficiencies. This can have a negative impact on health.

Monocomponent

Some miracle diets are characterized by the dominance of the selected ingredient. Examples include the cabbage diet or the oat diet. A diet based mainly on one product is not only monotonous, but can result in deficiencies of some nutrients.

When you analyze several popular diets, you can see at first glance that they are not so wonderful.

The Copenhagen Diet
id=»h20″>
A 13-day diet ensures weight loss from 4 to even 8 kg. This means that within a week we lose 2 to 4 times more weight than in the case of rational weight loss. Obtaining such results makes it possible to limit the caloric content to approx. 700 kcal per day. After such a restrictive diet, the yo-yo effect is guaranteed. It is worth noting that the rapidly disappearing kilograms are not associated with the loss of adipose tissue, but the loss of water and skeletal muscles. The body becomes weakened and the metabolism is disrupted. In the Copenhagen diet, breakfast is replaced with a cup of coffee, which, in the presence of deficiencies due to the diet, intensifies the leaching of minerals. The miracle diet in less than two weeks does not give miraculous, long-lasting effects.

Baby food diet

The so-called jar diet is based on eating meals from jars for small children. The diet is not complicated and quick to prepare, it is enough to reach for a ready-made mixture for a toddler. Only once a day is a standard adult dish, of course low in calories, eaten. Products for children are made of healthy, organic food, without the addition of salt, which is why they are associated with a healthy solution for adults. However, they will not provide us with valuable dietary fiber, and therefore, returning to the standard diet for an adult person, we can only contract an upset stomach. In addition, the small amounts in the jars may satisfy the hunger of an infant, but certainly not of an adult. This diet limits the daily caloric intake to 500 kcal. This allows you to lose weight by up to 5 kg in just a week, but we return to the previous dimensions just as quickly. Children’s jars are a considerable expense, so maybe it is worth replacing this miracle diet with rational food for adults?

The ballerina’s diet
id=»h20″>
As the name suggests, the diet is associated with lightness and thinness, which is what characterizes the title ballerina. No wonder that if we want to get rid of unnecessary kilograms in a short time, we pay attention to this diet. It allows you to reduce up to 12 kg in just 10 days. The ballerina’s diet is one-component diet, although the consumed products change every two days. It can also be described as a half-starvation, as the diet begins with a two-day drinking of water or coffee. The products delivered on the following days are monotonous, which leads to deficiencies and, consequently, has a devastating effect on the human body. Is the slim silhouette of a ballerina worth the price?

In carrying out your New Year’s Resolution, don’t do it at all costs. Remember that the miracle diet may be effective, but hard to maintain. Try to change your eating habits, eat regularly, diversely and, above all, healthy. Join it with physical activity, then you will certainly enjoy a beautiful figure for longer.
