Miniature kitchen to pay tribute to tapas in a new event of the celebrations of the gastronomic capital.
The Miniature Kitchen arrives in Toledo, with the best version of culinary art, prepared by professionals and for professionals, by the hand of Baseclick and 80 Degrees, with the collaboration and sponsorship of Toledo City Council, the Provincial Council and the Toledo Hospitality and Tourism Association.
The gastronomic event of “Minimal, haute cuisine in miniature” This is a theoretical-practical conference where the best Miniature Gastronomy chefs will teach their techniques and develop incredible culinary creations in the format of pinchos and tapas.
The dissemination vocation of the event and above all training, is a perfect opportunity for professionals in the hospitality sector to learn and develop their creativity and ingenuity, hand in hand with the best national exponents in this matter.
The venue of the event will be the Beatriz hotels, and during the 22nd and 23rd of February, it will host the best practices of miniature snacks in its rooms, on the occasion of the celebrations of the Spanish capital of gastronomy that has the imperial city of Toledo as its ambassador throughout the year 2016.
The professional event will be developed on 4 different and complementary categories at the same time:
- Each filtering bag Show Cooking, they will bring us closer to the production live by the teachers in three different rooms.
- Companies that Tastings, They will make the visitor’s entire sensory capacity travel to unknown lands in the field of production and the taste experience, accompanying them with a large selection of Land Wines.
- Un Friendly Space, as named by the organizers, where the products of the event’s sponsors and collaborators will be exhibited.
- The site of the Food, where the products of the Earth will be the protagonists of the inaugural agape for all who come to visit it.

The Miniature Kitchen that presents Minimal Toledo, also wants to reach the children’s public and with it be able to encourage and create new foodies and in his case, in the future, professionals of the culinary art.
For this, a day prior to the professional celebrations has been developed, tomorrow, Sunday February 21, where the smallest of the house have a place in the center of gastronomic activity, the kitchen.
Under the direction and supervision of the chefs Charo Val and José Rayas, they will prepare simple recipes and those that surely give a good account, based on pizzas, cookies and skewers to bring the public closer to the exciting world of elaboration with their preferences when it comes to food.
In order not to leave out the parents of the creatures, during the day on Sunday a dinner will be held, where the miniature kitchen masters Alfonso García and Isabel González (champions of the 2015 City of Valladolid National Pinchos and Tapas Championship), Jose Castrodeza, (runner-up in the Valladolid contest in 2014) and Darran Willianson (champion of Pintxos of Euskal Herría in 2009), they will prepare the delicacies that will be served at the tables of the assistants, to know and taste the art brought to the kitchen, as far as the miniature kitchen is concerned.
