Toxins accumulate in our body through the remains of undigested food, which rot and ferment in the intestines, causing headaches, fatigue, lack of energy and constant drowsiness, or vice versa – problems with falling asleep. Many of us are unaware of this fact, and toxins are the cause of contamination of the body, which can even lead to asthma, migraines, skin diseases and cancer. However, there are ways to cleanse the body of these harmful substances – one of them is a millet monodiet.

Ways to cleanse the intestines are also:

  • Enema,
  • Hydrocolonotherapy,
  • Fasting (though not recommended by some),
  • And a monodiet.

The last method is the simplest, it also does not cause side effects and does not require special sacrifices from us. Millet groats are recommended due to the large amount of nutritional value, and will not disturb the work of the whole body. The monodiet consists in eating only millet for a certain number of days, a maximum of about 14. However, the time of using the diet depends on personal willingness and perseverance, so we can adapt it to ourselves – at the beginning, 5-7 days will be a good way to get used to it nutrition. Contrary to appearances, it is a very healthy way to cleanse the body of toxins. Millet has:

  • B vitamins,
  • mineral salts,
  • Phosphor,
  • lecithin,
  • iron,
  • potassium,
  • calcium,
  • protein and carbohydrates,
  • silica.

Thanks to the latter ingredient, the condition of our joints, hair, skin and nails will improve. In addition, millet absorbs moisture from the body, which is why it can be useful for colds. It is best to start the diet in the autumn, when after the summer cooling down the body with cold foods and drinks and excess sweets, it is good to cleanse the body. If you do not want to cleanse the body, it is good to at least include millet in your daily diet, eating it, for example, for breakfast.
