These are not everyone’s drinks that can entice you with their aroma and taste (especially milk with garlic), but their healing properties were already known to our grandmothers and even great-grandmothers. Milk is a whole list of vitamins and minerals that support the immune system, for example vitamin A, which keeps our mucous membranes in good condition. There is zinc and B vitamins in milk.

You can also combine milk and garlic with honey. Not only will the taste of the drink change for the better, but the bactericidal properties of honey will add to the listed properties. This golden product contains antibiotic compounds such as lysozyme, apidicin and inhibin. These compounds are active against streptococci, staphylococci, Candida fungi. The drink should be drunk warm, twice a day, preferably in the morning and evening.

Of course, milk with garlic is a solution for colds, but in its initial stage, when symptoms are accompanied by high fever, persistent cough, you should see a doctor who may prescribe other medications. Garlic milk is also not recommended for people who have stomach problems, because garlic can irritate the damaged lining of the stomach.
