We heat 500 ml of milk in a saucepan. Vigorously whisk 3 eggs and 400 g of sugar with a whisk until the mass turns white and slightly increases in volume. Together with the zest of one lemon, we mix it into the milk and pour it into cupcake molds. We install them in a deep container, one-third filled with warm water, put them in the oven at 160 °C for half an hour.
At this time, rub 2 more eggs with 200 g of sugar, 130 g of flour and a pinch of salt. Add 500 ml of milk, bring to a boil and, stirring constantly, cook until thickened. At the end, we melt 100 g of butter in the cream correctly, keep it on the fire for a couple of minutes. Pour the custard over the puddings, sprinkle with cinnamon and decorate with pieces of fruit.
Panakota with the taste of a holiday
The most delicate snow-white panakota with berry sauce will become a decoration of the New Year’s table. For its preparation, the right milk of 2.5% is ideal. Gradually dissolve 3-4 tablespoons of ordinary sugar and 1-2 teaspoons of vanilla in the creamy-milk mixture. At the very end, we introduce the swollen gelatin and completely dissolve it.
We cool the mass to room temperature, pour it equally into martini glasses, put it in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours. Meanwhile, we grind 500 g of fresh strawberries into a puree, add powdered sugar to taste. We spread the strawberries on top of the frozen panakota and decorate with mint leaves.
Let’s play “snowballs” at the table
What else can I cook for a New Year’s feast, if not “snowballs”? Their main ingredient will be the right milk of 3.2-4 %. Thanks to careful processing, it has preserved the natural taste of fresh milk, so the “snowballs” will turn out especially tasty.
We divide 4 eggs into yolks and whites. Put the yolks in the refrigerator, whisk the whites into a steep foam with a pinch of salt and 1 tsp of lemon juice. Gradually bring 400 ml of milk to a boil. With a slotted spoon, we scoop up a little protein foam, lower it into boiling milk for a few seconds and immediately take it out. Thus, we make the rest of the “snowballs”.
Rub the yolks white with 100 g of sugar, add the remaining” snowballs ” milk after cooking. Add a bag of vanilla sugar and cook the sauce over medium heat until it thickens. Put a few “snowballs” on a serving plate or glass and pour milk sauce over it — a delicious festive dessert is ready!
This sweet “Potato”

We heat 150 ml of milk, dissolve 100 g of sugar and 2 tbsp of cocoa in it, bring it to a boil and immediately remove it from the heat.
