– I have lunch break, so I jumped out of the office with Vanya for a walk. In Gorky Park, he spent time with his dad as a child. He was 50 years old when I was born, they did not communicate as often as we would like. He was busy at work, and the rare moments when he managed to be together, for some reason, always passed in the park: in the winter they skated, in the summer they swam on the pond. Only then there were not catamarans, but boats with oars. It so happened that the age difference with my grandson is approximately the same as that of my father and me. We try to lead an active lifestyle with Vanya. An hour and a half together – and, you know, efficiency increases, thoughts are lined up, I will return to the office and start creating.

I have no experience in raising boys. I was always surrounded by the female kingdom: I have four daughters (Natalya – 31, Sarina – 18, Emmanuel – 9, Beate – 6 years old). He even raised his third daughter, Emma, ​​a little like a man, because in her place he was waiting for the boy. But on the fourth experiment he resigned himself.

The first couple of months after the birth of Vanechka he took him in his arms with the words: “You are mine girl!” Then I think: “What am I saying? You can not do it this way”. Choosing gifts for the guy was also not easy. I have never had such an experience. But there is a wife who gives advice in these matters. She has many friends who have sons. According to their advice, we also buy bicycles, constructors. But the best pastime is communicating with relatives. This is what we teach Vanya. We often run away into problems and affairs. The child was shoved a toy, they say, entertain yourself, but he needs human contact. It is necessary to talk to children from the very beginning, even while they are in the womb.

Now my grandson is already a year and a half old, but I still can’t believe that I am a grandfather. Although, of course, I’m glad. I changed my status, this suggests that my days are not in vain. But my daughters are still small, so I am a young father. My wife now has a favorite joke: “I’m not a grandmother yet, but I’m already sleeping with my grandfather” (Liana is the second wife of Mikhail Turetsky. The eldest daughter Natasha, Vanya’s mother, was born in her first marriage. – Approx. “Antenna”).

I think grandfather is like antiques, he should only please the eye. Vanya has a mom and dad. It is important for a boy that his father shows by personal example: a man is strength, movement, protection, provision. Natasha is also an independent girl. She devotes a lot of time to her child, her husband and at the same time manages to develop in the profession. She is a lawyer, economist and marketer. The daughter, by the way, breastfed Vanya for up to one and a half years, which is amazing. Many women are afraid of losing their shape, and she first of all thinks about the child. Well done. I am calm: my grandson is in good hands. Although, of course, Natasha has a nanny as assistants.

Only my mother is gone. A big omission in her fate is that from the age of five she grew up without maternal warmth and example. It left its mark. True, her mother’s grandmother was with her. She is a real heroine, a strong Russian woman. She lost her entire family (her husband, daughter and son were killed in a car accident). My father, Natasha’s grandfather, is also a hero, a participant in the breakthrough of the Leningrad blockade. And Natasha was genetically transferred to their qualities – to defend, work, win. My mother-in-law, by the way, at the age of 88, is babysitting with her great-grandson. Zoya Ivanovna says he prolongs her life.

To keep up with everything, I sleep 5-6 hours a day, and at the same time there is not enough time! We have an anniversary – the 25th anniversary of the Turetsky Choir. Let’s celebrate with a big tour of 70 cities of Russia. In addition, we launched a new project “Song Celebration”. This is the # 1 folk karaoke. Imagine, the Turetsky Choir performs on the main square of the city, we perform songs loved by many generations and all the residents sing along with us. These are indescribable emotions! Our record is 106 spectators who gathered at the Theater Square in Rostov-on-Don. And we sang together for an hour and a half! And also the tour …

Because of such a busy schedule, I rarely visit home. Therefore, sometimes I take my daughters with me on tour. Emma has already begun to go out with the “Chorus” to large venues. I usually declare: “Attention, new hero.” At first, people do not understand what it will bring them. It turns out a girl, the audience does not want her: they paid for the men. And suddenly he begins to sing and after 40 seconds wins hearts. At the end, I say only the name: Emmanuel Turetskaya. I do this on purpose, let it break a window to Europe for myself.
