BytTechService » microwave » Brands » Overview of Bosch microwave ovens: who is the manufacturer, models, reviews

The Bosch microwave oven helps its owners to cope with household chores. German technology is reliable, not prone to breakdowns. Having appeared on the Russian market before many, the brand has gained wild popularity – in this Bosch can only compete with Siemens. Both companies are part of the same group.

About Us

Among the countless manufacturers of household appliances, Bosch has not been lost. Its products consistently occupy a leading position in the rating of buyers. With a rich history, the brand is famous for its innovative solutions, it is a pioneer in many technical issues. All products of the company are a worthy embodiment of the famous German quality. The company relies on:

  • innovation;
  • energy efficiency;
  • quality;
  • ease of use;
  • external beauty;

Bosch’s core values are reliability and trust. As its creator said: “Better to lose money than trust.”

Bosch Microwave Features

Bosch microwaves differ from competitors in the abundance of technological developments. At the same time, the brand does not pay attention to the outside: refinement is alien to the products, the design is simple, uncomplicated – a real classic of microwaves. Between the budget and the most advanced, sometimes there is no external difference – except perhaps the number of buttons.

They are chosen by those who appreciate the assembly and functionality, and not external beauty.

Types of microwave ovens

The German concern produces two types of furnaces:

  • Embedded. They occupy a minimum of space, placed in the depths of the kitchen set – in a specially designed compartment.
  • Freestanding. These models are on countertops. They take up free working space, but they can be easily moved or moved.

All Bosch microwave ovens can be divided into three groups:

  1. Solo with capacity up to 17 liters. Inexpensive option with a small set of functions. Due to the volume of the chamber, they are chosen for a small undemanding family, in the office, in the country, in a rented apartment.
  2. Versions up to 23 l equipped with a grill.
  3. Chamber from 25 l (maximum capacity – 40 l) with a large number of functions.

How to choose a microwave

Decide what options are important to you:

  • power;
  • chamber volume;
  • availability of functions;
  • location in the kitchen.

Important! When choosing an option, be sure to specify the power – you may need a separate outlet.

Any expert in the field of household appliances will confirm: it is not profitable to buy a small Bosch solo. For the same price, you can find analogues from other manufacturers with a large chamber volume and useful features.

Overview of microwaves

Consider models with basic functions and advanced ones. Let’s compare them in terms of price, benefits for the home.

Budget HMT 75 M 421

A very small oven with a capacity of 17 liters is ideal for an office or cottage. It can only heat and defrost food – this is not enough for a functional kitchen. The Auto Pilot program automates cooking by weight. Ascetic design, without grill, convection. There is a display. Case – white enamel or stainless steel.

Options:

  • microwave maximum – 0,8 kW (5 steps);
  • pallet – 24,5 cm;
  • weight – 13,5 kg.

The estimated cost is 7 rubles.

NMT 75 G 421 with grill

The main difference from the previous one is the grill. Thanks to this function, its attractiveness increases: you can already buy one not only for the office, but also for the kitchen. There are many more operating modes, including “Combi”, which saves electricity. You can add your favorite recipe to the device memory, but only one.

Compact model with a volume of 17 liters. Grill power – 1 kW. All other parameters are similar to the previous model.

HMT 84 G in three colors

The manufacturer offers three housing options:

  • white enamelled;
  • black enameled;
  • stainless steel.

Capacity – 25 liters. This modification is suitable for the kitchen – too large for the office. Dimensions and power are the same as previous versions. Of the stand-alone Bosch stoves, this is the most functional option.

Built-in microwaves

If there is not enough free space in the kitchen, every work surface counts, it is better to build in a microwave oven.

How to choose a built-in microwave oven

If the kitchen has a stove equipped with a grill and convection, a model with microwaves will suffice for defrosting and heating food. If not, get the grilled version. If there is convection, it will be possible to bake. You also need to pay attention to:

  • Control type. Mechanical – the setting is made by switches. Electronic – provides accuracy, greater functionality.
  • Camera capacity. One person will manage with a volume of 13 liters. The family needs at least 20 liters.
  • Camera cover. Enamel is the cheapest. Stainless steel is the most reliable, but requires more maintenance. Bioceramics are stronger than enamel, more practical than stainless steel.
  • It is desirable that the power can be adjusted. You don’t always have to cook to the max. Standard – 0,6-0,9 kW. To cook soup, 3-4 minutes is enough for 0,8 kW, to fry a chicken, you need a grill of at least 1 kW.

Important! The powers of the modes add up, therefore, to provide an apparatus in which you can simultaneously start the grill, convection and microwaves, you need electrical wiring for a current of 10 A or more. When choosing a modification, you should take into account the state of electrical networks.

BFL 634 GS1

Need a built-in microwave – choose BFL 634 GS1. Main pluses: it is beautiful, functional, it is simple in management. Stainless steel inner lining. Specifications, design features:

  • Volume – 21 l. Enough to cook a meal for a large family.
  • 900 W. 5 power levels.
  • Auto Pilot, 7 auto programs. 4 of them – cooking, taking into account the weight, type of food, 3 – delicate defrosting.
  • LED lights.
  • Electronic panel with push buttons, rotary knob.

Cons:

  • you can not add your own recipes to the device’s memory;
  • there is no self-cleaning system.

BFL 634 GW1

Standard built-in microwave, quickly defrosts, warms up food. Without grill and convection, for cooking simple dishes. Options:

  • 900 watts;
  • 21 l;
  • 5 power levels;
  • Auto Pilot + auto programs.
  • touch control;
  • chamber cover – stainless steel;
  • uniform illumination of the camera;
  • glass door.

The advantages include simple operation, a variety of modes, a choice of temperature conditions. The disadvantages are similar to the previous model: there is no self-cleaning, it is impossible to enter the recipe into memory.

HMT75 M654

A clear example of a serious approach to creating comfortable and stylish equipment. A bright representative of the Bosch family of built-in microwave ovens. 4 defrost modes, 7 auto-cooking programs are enough for most culinary tasks. When choosing auto mode, the user specifies only the mass of the product, and the smart stove sets the parameters itself.

Features:

  • 20 l.
  • 800W;
  • child protection

Thanks to a special coating on the front panel, there are no greasy spots, fingerprints, which simplifies maintenance. Internal coating – stainless steel: resistant to corrosion, scratches, easy to clean. You can set your own program, save the recipe in memory.

Pros: simple functional stove with recipe programming. Cons: no grill, quick reheat, quick defrost, can’t keep warm automatically.

The main drawback of all the built-in options discussed above is the lack of a convection mode.

HMT 72M420 and 72M450 – couldn’t be easier

The simplest modifications that even a child can handle. 5 power levels: starting – for defrosting, 360 W – to stew meat and reheat food. At the maximum, liquid dishes are usually heated. Timer up to 60 minutes. Two rotary switches on the panel. Child protection is not provided.

HMT 72M420/450 has a chamber volume of 17 liters and is available in two versions: white (420), steel (450). The finish is cheap enamel. Of course, there is no grill in this budget stove. Glass tray with a diameter of 24,5 cm. The door opens after pressing the button.

Simple inexpensive appliances are an attractive option for buyers looking for a microwave for a limited range of tasks. No programming: turn the switch and get your food warmed up. The cost fluctuates within 3000 rubles.

For the younger generation, the budget version has been improved – new modifications of the HMT 75M421 and 75M451 in white and steel color have appeared.

The control panel is simply unrecognizable: instead of handles, the display is simple but informative. One rotary switch was still left, but it became smaller. There are a lot of buttons on the panel – they select power from 0,09 to 0,8 kW. Capacity – 17 liters. The finish is enamel. The cost is higher than that of previous models – about 4 rubles.

Reviews

HMT75G451: Philip R., Salekhard

I think this is the best stove in the 20L range. The quartz grill works great. Cons – the fragility of the lattice. Too thin legs, uneven. I took it for 4 rubles, so I didn’t expect anything special from the stove. Pleasantly surprised by the speed of heating, the quality of baking. Even at 000 kW, the microwave works very quickly. Grill can be combined with waves. This is a real microwave oven.. Plus – simple control, no need to rack your brains over the buttons, even a child understands everything. What would you suggest: make a model without a turntable to increase the usable volume.

BFL634GB1: Marina S., Elektrostal

An inverter model that disappointed me with an ill-conceived interface. Working with such technology is annoying. When turned on, it always tupits – it turns on only after a few seconds. Then you still need to press the “Open” button – it is difficult to find it among a bunch of touch buttons, it is not highlighted when the door is closed. When you turn on the oven, the “cooking time” button lights up – here you can set the desired value, but once you press the “Open” button, the setting disappears. In general, I could not “intuitively” understand how to start the microwave correctly. And for this to pay so much money?

Bosch microwaves are expensive, but they guarantee reliable and trouble-free operation. For those who are looking for an original design or want to save money, it is better to pass by – the brand offers simple stoves. But for buyers looking for a reliable oven, willing to pay for quality, Bosch will be to their liking.
