Together with a nutritionist-endocrinologist, we have compiled a list of foods that will not only help you lose weight, but also improve your health.

Each product is useful in its own way, but there are so-called superfoods that have healing power and have a minimum calorie content. Endocrinologist-nutritionist and wellness coach Natalia Sevastyanova spoke in more detail about them.

– It is necessary to understand that none of the superfoods is capable of making a full body slim. And this is what everyone who is interested in healthy eating dreams of. If you want to lose weight and eat superfoods, then you still need to take into account the daily calorie intake or KBZHU (K – calories; B – proteins; F – fats; U – carbohydrates). If we eat a surplus amount of calories, then no miracle seeds or microgreens will help us achieve ideal forms.

The healthiest superfoods

  • Chia seeds. Affordable, pleasant to the taste, interesting and tasty desserts with coconut or oat milk and fruit are easily obtained from them. Losing weight with a sweet tooth must necessarily introduce healthy desserts into the diet so that they are not drawn to harmful sweets.

The Good: a source of omega-3. They are able to accumulate a large amount of liquid and, accordingly, quickly give a feeling of fullness. It is a kind of tasty alternative to fiber that keeps the gastrointestinal tract filled with virtually zero calories.

  • Coconut oil. One of the healthiest oils for those who are still frying. It does not smoke and does not smoke, which means it does not emit carcinogens during cooking. Sweetish taste, indispensable for pastry baking. Lovers of Thai cuisine also like it – fish and meat fried on it will have a slight sweetish aftertaste.

The Good: possesses antiviral and antibacterial properties (fights against herpes simplex, influenza and measles viruses), antifungal activity, reduces hunger, gives a feeling of energy, gives a slight sweetness to drinks (for example, if added to a cup of coffee), improves the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins, reduces the level of systemic inflammation.

  • Avocado. The fattest fruit, indispensable for all slimming people. Avocados are especially worth looking at for those who cannot imagine the morning without a sandwich with butter. A slice of avocado or a paste of it plus toast will help you enjoy the taste without harming your waist. With this “green” helper, you can make an incredible variety of salads and appetizers, because avocados are ideal for any food.

The Good: an irreplaceable source of the right fats. And all the nutritionists of the world unanimously argue that losing weight cannot be deprived of fat. They must be present in adequate amounts in the body to maintain healthy hormonal levels. It is the lack of fat that can disrupt the regular cycle in women, and in men, reduce testosterone levels.

  • Microgreen… A rich source of trace minerals, especially magnesium. Any microgreens – rucola, spinach, amaranth, peas, cilantro, etc. – are beautiful in appearance, and this is very important for a person who restricts himself in food. Ideal for decorating dishes: it has already been proven that we eat less when we see “green” beauty on the plate, which is voluminous, but not at all high in calories. It goes well with meat and fish. Ideal for smoothies.

The Good: Microgreens contain plant enzymes that allow humans to digest animal protein more comfortably. That is why it is served with meat. The fact is that meat, getting into our body, acidifies it, which does not happen if there is a microgreen together with it. Young greenery contains a lot of magnesium, which is indispensable for a good functioning of the nervous system, and therefore a happy life.

  • Whitgrass, or wheatgrass juice – a powerful natural energetic, it contains more than 80 different digestive enzymes and fiber. The main substance of the juice – chlorophyll – is indispensable for detoxifying the body and increasing the level of hemoglobin in human blood.

The Good: antioxidants that are part of witgrass, reduce the oxidative process of cells, protect against the development of many serious diseases and help slow down aging.

  • Berries (raspberries, currants, blueberries, blueberries, etc.) is a nutritionally legalized sweetness: the sugars contained in berries can be afforded while losing weight.
