Micellar fluid is a cosmetic increasingly chosen by women. This innovative, light cosmetic that combines the action of milk and make-up remover. Gently, without burdening the skin, leaving no greasy film (like milk) and not giving a feeling of tightness (like soap and water), micellar water cleans the skin of impurities and effectively and gently removes makeup.
Micellar fluid – action
Micellar Water was invented by Jean-Noël Thorel, the French founder of the skincare line. Micellar was designed to cleanse and moisturize because natural tap water was too harsh on the skin, which led to dryness and a dull complexion.
Micellar Water is a universal skin care product that has become a favorite with both beauty gurus and dermatologists. It is made using purified water, moisturizers like glycerin, and mild surfactants.
The molecules of these mild surfactants combine to form micelles, a type of spherical chemical structure that helps remove makeup and all kinds of dirt from the surface of the facial skin. Not only is micellar water gentle, it also helps to cleanse the pores while toning the skin.
In addition, it is alcohol-free and can help moisturize the skin while reducing irritation and inflammation, keeping skin soft, supple and smooth.
Micellar liquid – advantages
As we already know, micellar water is used to cleanse the skin of the face. However, most micellar fluids contain moisturizing compounds such as glycerin, which has been shown to help skin retain moisture more efficiently, reduce inflammation and skin irritation. What’s more, the surfactants in micellar fluid are very mild and less irritating, making it an excellent choice for people with dry skin.
In addition to all the benefits of micellar fluid, this product is portable, convenient and easy to use. Because it acts as a (you can safely say so) makeup remover, cleanser and toner, it eliminates the need for a few other skincare products that may take up space in your cupboard or purse. Micellar liquid is also great for travel and will be useful in situations where you may not have access to running water.
Micellar liquid – application
Commonly, many women only use micellar fluid to remove makeup – which is a mistake. So let’s start with the fact that the facial skin should be cleansed every morning and evening. Cleansing before going to bed is especially important, even if you haven’t applied makeup that day.
During the day, our skin comes into contact with many impurities (dust, cigarette smoke, free radicals), as well as with its own sebum. Therefore, you can also use micellar water for this – it will wash away impurities and moisturize the skin. Of course, you can use the cleansing gel in the next step and apply your favorite cream.
Remember, however, that it is better to use micellar fluid as a skin cleanser than the tonic itself, which may contain alcohol and thus irritate the skin.
Micellar fluid – indications
The micellar liquid leaves the skin smooth, soft and thoroughly cleansed. It does not cause irritation and is suitable for all skin types, although it is most suitable for dry and sensitive skin. It can be used by people with the so-called complexion. problematic, for example atopic, acne-prone or prone to allergies. At the moment, many types of lotions are available in stationary and online stores, tailored to various skin problems.
Separately from dry, mature, capillaries, allergy-prone women, every woman will surely find something just right for herself. The only barrier to cleansing when it comes to fluid can be waterproof makeup. In this case, you will have to reach for a stronger makeup remover, and use the micellar fluid later.
For sensitive skin, we recommend Micellar Lotion from Embryolisse. It is available on Medonet Market at an attractive price.
Micellar liquid – application
Micellar fluid should be used in the morning and evening, although some women also refresh their skin during the day. In the morning, cleansing the skin with a lotion is a perfect preparation for make-up, and in the evening it will remove dust, cosmetic residues and excess sebum.
The cosmetic should be applied to a cotton pad and gently rubbed over the skin, without stretching it. The make-up removal procedure is similar, except that the cotton pad should be held longer on the eyelid. You can reach for micellar water with the addition of aloe, which additionally moisturizes the skin, or lipid micellar water suitable for people prone to allergies and irritations. Green Laboratory micellar face make-up remover contains natural ingredients that help to gently remove impurities and makeup from the skin, and improve its color.
How do I choose a good micellar liquid?
The micellar fluid should contain as few ingredients as possible, the simpler the composition, the better the fluid. It should not contain too many additives, such as fragrances, dyes, SLS, preservatives, or at least their content should be kept to a minimum to reduce the risk of allergies and irritation.
