The scene is a cottage village for families with children. The plots are large: with solid houses and huge gardens. The gardens, however, seem to be “landscaped” in some places, but if you look closely, they are stupid: it’s uncomfortable for children to run, slides and climbing frames are clearly not for their age, and the selection of plants is also not the best. Children, going to such gardens, do not have the opportunity to properly realize their motor and mental activity. The potential of this space for the development of children is realized at a maximum of 20%. And then our van with a partner appears. We get out of it — we are gardeners. We are in uniform, we have tools with us. We were called by the parents to teach them how to properly organize their garden.
But we are not ordinary gardeners.
Firstly, our goal is not just a beautiful, but also a “developing garden”. Children should be able to «play and learn» in it. We recommend certain trees (which grow successfully, spread branches along the ground — it is convenient and safe to climb), certain sports complexes, certain slides. To trees, shrubs and flower beds, we install mini-tablets describing this plant, acquainting children with nature in a little more detail than is customary.
Secondly, we will not take care of it ourselves. We will only tell you what must be in the garden, what is desirable. We will give a master class on plant care. But then we will leave, and the family will have to take care of the garden themselves. Of course, we are on hand and always available as consultants. But we do not do the work of the owners for them.
Somewhere in the same garden there are our plots with a partner. They are not the «coolest», but they are properly planned. Our family also takes part in our project — our children tell us what they would need in the garden, what they can do without. Our husbands and parents also give feedback. In general, family and business in this picture seem to be very harmoniously combined.
The camera pulls back and it is clear that every day more and more gardens are becoming «developing». And the children grow up and by default make their gardens “right”.
