Mesothreads for the face: reviews

Mesothreads for the face: reviews

What if age-related changes overtook you at the age of 30 and cosmetologists offer radical solutions – mesothreads? Our reporter decided on a face correction using threads and talked about all the pros and cons of the popular cosmetology procedure.

Mesothreads are, if not the last peep, then the most fashionable in aesthetic cosmetology. There are a great many types of them. Different threads are used at different ages and on different areas of the face and body. We tested Korean-style 3D mesothreads – they are the thinnest of all.

Mesothreads, the price of one thread is from 900 rubles

How it works

And my face swam – I made such a disappointing conclusion at the age of 35. The oval of the face began to lose its distinctness, the nasolabial folds deepened, wrinkles appeared at the mouth – all together gave the effect, which I dubbed “the seal of world sorrow.” In general, under the influence of gravity and stress, the skin rushed downward uncontrollably.

With the cosmetologist, we decided to slow down the process with mesothreads. They are used at the initial stage of age-related changes – someone has to do it at 30, I’m at 35, and who even at 40 still don’t think of such thoughts. Everything is individual.

The thread really looks like a thread and is packed in a very fine needle. This needle is used to stitch the skin. Or they reinforce, that is, they create a frame that helps to resist the pull of the earth.

Under the skin, the mesothread begins to slowly dissolve, injecting collagen. Therefore, elasticity returns, and the skin from such a sudden happiness that has fallen on it itself begins to produce elastins more intensively. Including because of the resulting microtrauma – this is also a rejuvenating factor.

How does this happen

So, what the procedure looks like from the inside. It takes 10-15 minutes, depending on how many threads the beautician advises you. Usually they are measured in tens: five in each cheek, ten in the neck, ten in the lower jaw.

We decided to sew ten into the neck, the same amount into the lower third of the face. A month later, another twenty went to the middle third, in the nasolabials, cheeks and closer to the ears.

Feels like the procedure is not to say that it is painful, but sensitive. Not “oh, what are you doing, stop,” but “ay” for sure. But anesthesia is not used here – firstly, after all, it is not so painful, and secondly, capillaries hide from anesthesia, the face turns white, and the likelihood of catching a vessel with a needle increases.

And then what?

Looking in the mirror right after, I was even at a loss: how to go home with this happiness? Red spots, even blood on the cheek in a couple of places. And you can’t cover up – the wound is fresh, no matter how inflamed. But after a few minutes, the redness disappeared, the blood is also easy to wipe off. There was only an uneven complexion – unsympathetic, but not fatal.

If only I had a hood … But I had to limit myself to glasses.

The most interesting thing came the next day. Bruises began to appear. The key word is started. The trauma is still deep, so bruises are poured out gradually. For example, I had a very small bruise on the left side of my face, which was easy to hide with BB cream, but on the right side a yellow bruise appeared on the side of my cheek after a few days. Another poured out on the cheekbone and gradually flowed almost under the eye.

All this disgrace passed for a month.

– We still didn’t put it under our eyes, – the cosmetologist “consoled” me. – There are no bruises at all. And they pass for a long time.

But what can’t you do for the sake of beauty.

One more thing – at the places where the threads are inserted, sometimes a strange feeling appears, as if the skin is bursting with something from the inside. So they, the threads, dissolve.

About the effect

The wow effect, like from Botox, does not give mesothreads. For the first two months, you probably won’t notice anything at all. Except for the bruises, of course. Only then, as the collagen that makes up the threads dissolves, the skin will begin to tighten. The full effect occurs in three months.

Perhaps the first thing I noticed in the mirror was that my complexion improved. Then the contour of the lower jaw, my most problematic part, became clearer: my skin is heavy, and strives to succumb to gravity. On the neck, the threads did not work as well as we would like: the wrinkles are still visible.

– The threads have a cumulative effect. The skin gradually hardens. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out supporting procedures about once every six months, – the cosmetologist explained.

Important!

There are a few things to be aware of. Do not sunbathe after the procedure. On hyper-moisturized skin, the sunburn will lie in spots.

You should not do a facial massage, play sports, even just bend down – anything that can lead to blood flow to your face will provide you with much more spectacular bruises. It is even advised to sleep face down. At least a week.
