“Men’s Dreams” salad: how to cook? Video

Puff salads are popular, especially on holidays. They can be prepared in advance to make them even tastier. They require simple and affordable products. And besides, these salads are very satisfying. The “Men’s Dreams” salad is so named because it combines meat, cheese and mayonnaise, loved by men.

Layered salad “Men’s dreams”

You will need:

– beef – 500 g

– chicken eggs – 6 pcs.

– lettuce or onions – 2 pcs.

– hard cheese – 200 g

– vinegar (3%) – 1 tbsp

– allspice, bay leaf – salt, sugar – fresh herbs – mayonnaise

You need to start preparing a salad with the preparation of products that require long processing. Rinse fresh or previously thawed beef in cold water. With a sharp knife, carefully remove excess films and veins. Pour water into a saucepan so that it covers the meat to the width of a palm, set with an edge, salt. At first, the fire can be made strong, but after boiling it should be reduced and the meat cooked until cooked for about 1-1,5 hours. 20 minutes before the end of cooking, add bay leaf and pepper to the pan. Cut the finished and cooled meat into small pieces.

Cut the onion into thin half rings and marinate in a mixture of vinegar and water (it should taste sour). You need to marinate for about 20 minutes to remove the bitterness from the onion. To add piquancy, you can dissolve a little sugar in water. Boil eggs for 10 minutes with a pinch of salt, then pour cold water until they cool completely. After 5 eggs, finely chop and grate one in a separate saucer. The cheese should also be grated on a coarse grater.

To make the hard cheese easier to grate, rub the surface of the grater with olive oil or any other vegetable oil. After that, washing the grater will become much easier.

For the “Men’s Dreams” salad, it is better to take a transparent salad bowl, so all layers will be clearly visible in it. Put the pieces of beef in the first layer. Lubricate them with mayonnaise. Next comes a layer of pickled onions. Before putting the onion, it should be thrown onto a sieve so that the excess water is glass. The third layer is eggs. Make a fine mesh of mayonnaise on them too. Put cheese on the eggs, grease it with mayonnaise. Next, garnish the salad with grated egg and finely chopped herbs. Leave to soak for at least an hour.

In order not to overdo it with mayonnaise, you can make a small cut from the corner in a soft bag. Then the sauce will be squeezed out in a thin stream, which is convenient to make a beautiful mesh for each layer.

The recipe for this salad is classic, but you can change it to your liking. A layer of grated apples between eggs and cheese will add originality to the dish. Chopped walnuts mixed with herbs will diversify the taste and decorate the salad. Well, for greater satiety, especially in the cold season, you can add pickled cucumber with one of the layers. It goes well with the rest of the ingredients. Such a salad, very masculine in content, will surely decorate both a festive and an ordinary table.
