The fashion for sparkling wine with mother-of-pearl tints came to our country from Spain. Mela D`Oro (Mela Doro) is a multi-colored champagne produced by the Russian company Salyut Plus. The company is located in the city of Beslan, the administrative center of the Republic of North Ossetia. The drink will appeal to those who prefer sweet alcohol with unusual fruit flavors.

Historical information

The Salyut group of companies was founded in 1995. For a long time, the company was one of the leaders in terms of production of strong drinks in the low price segment. The production complex occupies 52 hectares in the city center. There are three enterprises on the territory, including a plant for the production of still and sparkling wines.

Technological lines are fully automated and equipped with modern equipment. The company built a cellar with a total area of ​​about one and a half thousand square meters. The premises maintain a constant temperature and humidity, optimal for storing champagne.

The company purchases raw materials from large agricultural firms on the Taman Peninsula. The blends are made up of five varieties of base wines from Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Aligote, Sauvignon and Riesling grapes. Champagne is made by the tank method, and French-made yeast is used for fermentation.

Champagne Mela D`Oro is created on the basis of white table wine materials, which are diluted with drinking water to the desired strength. The pearlescent effect of the drink is given by food coloring Kandurin. Its structure consists of small transparent particles with a glossy sheen, mixed with a pigment of a bright shade. The additive does not cause allergic reactions and is safe for health.

Wine drink of a rich pink hue with mother-of-pearl tints. The sugar content is quite high – 50 g per liter, so the drink is characterized by a sweet taste with hints of raspberries and strawberries, which is given to it by natural flavors.

Mela D`Oro Blue, 8%

Champagne blue color with a silver sheen. The aroma is fruity, the taste is dominated by honey melon. The carbonation of the drink is weak, the bubbles quickly disappear. Shelf life of wine – 24 months from the date of release.
