Medonet editors received the honorary title of Clean Air Ambassador for joining the fight for cleaner air in Poland. The winner in the internet category was the editor-in-chief of the website, Anna Zimny-Zając for the article «Every year, he silently kills 45 Poles».
«Clean Air Ambassador» – awards for the Medonet editorial office
The editors of Medonet were recognized during the Medical Journalist of the Year competition. We have received the honorary title of “Clean Air Ambassador” for sharing knowledge about the harmfulness of air pollution. The award in the category of Internet publications was also awarded to the editor-in-chief of the website, Anna Zimny-Zając for “factually error-free, presented in an original formula information on the threats resulting from polluted air and the environment”.

Medical Journalist of the Year 2019 competition
“Clean Air Ambassador” is a special category of the “Medical Journalist of the Year” competition organized by the Association of Journalists for Health. The authors of the best publications on the topic of “Health hazards resulting from air and environmental pollution” were awarded in four categories: press, radio, television, Internet.
The competition for journalists is part of the “Time to clean air” educational campaign carried out as part of the National Health Program for 2016–2020. The project was initiated by the Ministry of Health. Its purpose is to raise public awareness of the negative impact of smog and air pollution on health.
