Meditations to restore strength and energy: how to meditate correctly? Video

Meditation is a great way to regain the strength and energy you spent during the day. However, sitting in the right position, you may find that you are unable to concentrate on your activity, and instead of being pacified, you feel your back go numb and your legs go numb. Study the technique again and be patient, and then you will achieve the desired result.

Choose a time to meditate. It is advisable to do this twice a day: in the morning and in the evening for fifteen to twenty minutes. So that your body gets used to such an activity faster and the healing effect begins to manifest itself earlier, sit down to meditate every day at the same time.

Prepare a room where you will meditate. Ask relatives at this time not to disturb you, remove pets. Mute the ringtone on your mobile, make sure that you will not be distracted by the sound of incoming messages on social networks. If you wish, you can turn on relaxing music and light an aroma lamp or incense in the room.

Music, candles and incense are not required attributes of meditation. Use them if they help you to relax, otherwise you can replace them with other soothing items or even remove them altogether.

The classic meditation posture is the lotus position. However, it is unlikely that a beginner will be able to get comfortable in this way and indulge in his thoughts. For meditation, you can sit on your heels with your legs tucked under you, put a pillow under your butt, or even do this while sitting on a chair. The main thing is that you feel comfortable and that nothing interferes with your recovery.

Don’t try to meditate on your bed. Chances are, during exercise, you will simply begin to feel sleepy.

Sit down, relax, and try not to think about anything. It can be quite difficult for a beginner to concentrate without being distracted by any stimuli. If you are having trouble, put a lighted candle in front of you, look at the flame and think only of it. If you notice that extraneous phrases and images are swarming in your head without interrupting your activity, start thinking again about the fluttering light.

Instead of a candle flame, you can focus on a phrase. For this purpose, Buddhists repeat mantras to themselves, but you can remember a children’s poem or repeat to yourself the last words of the speaker from the program that you turned off. After thinking about something else, don’t beat yourself up, but just return to repeating the phrase.

In order not to worry during meditation that you will be late and late somewhere, set an alarm clock with an unobtrusive melody

When it works, don’t rush to your feet. Allow yourself to sit with your eyes closed for a couple more minutes and enjoy the calmness, serenity and love for the world that you are now experiencing.
