It is important to remember that most plants can cause an allergic reaction. Making a tincture at home, without laboratory equipment, you will not be able to know exactly how much of the active substance is contained in your tincture, which can also negatively affect your health.
Air infusion
Calamus root can be infused with wine: 8 g per 1 liter of wine.
Use as an antiemetic, 20 g before the appearance of a gag reflex.
Initial letter medicinal tincture
Pour a tablespoon of grass with 1 glass of water with the addition of 2 tbsp. l. wine (port).
Bring to a boil, boil for 5 minutes, insist in a sealed container for 20 minutes, strain.
Take 2 tbsp. l. 2 times a day. It is taken as a hemostatic agent for pulmonary bleeding, for diseases of the upper respiratory tract.
Clove tincture
4-6 g cloves, 1 liter of water, 400-600 g of sugar, 1 liter of vodka
Pour vodka over clove buds and insist in a warm place for several days. Then strain, add boiled water and sugar and stir until it is completely dissolved. After that, filter and bottle.
Elecampane high tincture
30 g of crushed elecampane root pour 0,5 liters of cognac. Infuse for 40 days in a dark place, shaking occasionally, strain. Take 25 drops 2-3 times a day for impotence.
Making wine from elecampane: 5 tbsp. l. roots (30 g) are mixed with 30 g of alcohol, left for 24 hours. Then dilute 1 liter of dry grape wine, stir, squeeze and filter. They drink 30-40 g before meals with poor digestion and lack of appetite.
Avicenna used a decoction of elecampane roots in grape sauce for heart and lung diseases.
St. John’s wort tincture
1 st. l. dry and crushed St. John’s wort pour 1 glass of alcohol.
You need to insist the liquid for a week in a dark place, not forgetting to shake the bottle every day. Strain the tincture before use. For internal use, the tincture is diluted with a small amount of water. You need to take 30-40 drops 3 times a day.
The healing power of this modest herb is so great that it is used to treat a wide variety of diseases – from stomatitis to sciatica.
It is also good for rinsing the mouth with gum disease. In a glass of water for rinsing, add 1 tbsp. l. tinctures.
Cuff ordinary tincture
To improve metabolism and for pain in the heart, it is recommended to boil a dessert spoon of grass (5-10 minutes) in 0,5 liters of dry grape wine, leave for a day, strain and drink 1 tbsp. l. 3 times a day. Ingestion requires caution, because the plant is poisonous.
Tansy ordinary tincture
Wine from tansy inflorescences is useful for rheumatism: 50 g of inflorescences insist 8 days in nutmeg wine, take 30-40 g after two main meals. Wines are flavored with this herb.
Horsetail tincture
The hemostatic effect is well achieved by drinking wine from horsetail: 15-20 g of horsetail to infuse in 1 liter of white wine for a long time. Take in the morning on an empty stomach 100-150 g.
Can be used externally as a cleansing lotion. Avicenna recommended an infusion of herbs in wine for tumors in the liver and stomach, for dropsy and bloody diarrhea.
Salvia officinalis tincture
Sage wine is used as an anti-inflammatory agent: 80 g of sage leaves, 1 liter of wine. Insist 8 days. Take 20-30 g after meals.
