Medical Chamber in the age of medical innovations. The third episode of the podcast “Health in conversation”

The latest episode of the podcast “Health in conversation, about new technologies in medicine” was released on December 16, 2021, and it was hosted by the President of the Regional Medical Chamber in Warsaw, Łukasz Jankowski.

District Medical Chamber in Warsaw, together with the Supreme Medical Chamber, is a professional self-government that brings together all doctors and dentists authorized to practice in its area of ​​operation. The Medical Chamber represents doctors, but also works for patients. Its structures include the Professional Liability Officer, as well as the Medical Court, which examines cases related to violations of the law and the Code of Medical Ethics by doctors. It is an authority that issues the right to practice a profession, supervises its performance, and cares for the dignity of the profession. There are a total of 24 District Medical Chambers in Poland.

– A good doctor today will be a good doctor in a moment when he can handle AI tools and approaches their analyzes in a critical way, i.e. the patient’s preferences, the patient’s psychological profile and the patient’s entire decision-making past will be imposed on the AI ​​analysis. I think that here is a large role of training in medicine, which should change today and should change today taking into account what will be in medicine in 5 or 10 years – he points out Łukasz Jankowski, President of the District Medical Chamber in Warsaw.
