Twenty years with patients.
What problems of patients are the specialists of the multidisciplinary center ready to solve?? What new directions have appeared in it? Does the medical center provide assistance to children? We asked the deputy director of the center for medical activity to tell about this Elena Kake.
In the late 80s – early 90s, the crisis of the country’s socio-economic system hit health care especially hard. People needed medical help and were ready to receive it for money. Private medicine has become an alternative to public health.
It was then – November 14, 1995 – our medical center “Admiralty Shipyards” opened its doors to residents of the northern capital. And I must say that already from the moment of opening, we set ourselves the most serious tasks. Over these twenty years, we have never deviated from the implementation of our mission: providing residents and guests of our city with comprehensive high-tech medical care and introducing the best domestic and world methods of treatment and diagnostics into medical practice.

Sure! Today our center “Admiralty Shipyards” Is a multidisciplinary medical institution providing assistance in more than 70 medical areas. It includes a polyclinic, a hospital, diagnostic and rehabilitation centers. More than a thousand people visit us every day, and the total number of patients has exceeded 350 thousand.
Together we have gone through more than one crisis. We learned to live within our means, at the same time – without loss of quality. All these years we have been trusted, we have been and remain in demand. This is both pleasing and imposes great responsibility. When I say “together” I mean both with the patients and with the team.
Quite right, progress cannot be stopped! In recent years, along with the use and improvement of traditional medical technologies, we have mastered a number of high-tech minimally invasive treatment methods. They are used in general surgery, otorhinolaryngology, ophthalmology, cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery, urology and can significantly shorten the rehabilitation period after surgical interventions and improve the quality of life of our patients.

We plan to further update and expand the fleet of high-tech medical equipment, introduce new medical technologies, and expand the range of services provided. In September, the center received a new license for medical activities, which significantly expands our medical and diagnostic capabilities.
We began to provide services in new areas for ourselves: rheumatology, nephrology, hematology, maxillofacial surgery. And, of course, pediatrics – the residents of the Admiralteisky District asked for it so strongly. Now she is at your service.
We are proud of our successes, but neither round dates nor serious performance indicators overshadow our core values: service to the patient, commitment to quality, an integrated approach to treatment.
