Meatballs in the oven: how to cook? Video
Meatballs are small balls of minced meat or fish, to which vegetables and rice are added. This dish has a delicate pleasant taste and goes well with various side dishes. And if you cook them in the oven, you can enjoy a hearty and at the same time healthy dish.
Recipe for cooking meatballs with vegetables
Ingredients: – 400 g minced meat; – ½ cup of rice; – 3 medium-sized onions; – 2 carrots; – 1 yolk; – 2 tomatoes; – 2 tbsp. tablespoons of sour cream; – black pepper and salt to taste; – vegetable oil; – a glass of water; – parsley.
Any meat can be used to prepare meatballs. A dietary dish will be made from beef and chicken, and a very juicy one will be made from pork.
Prepare a roast. To do this, peel the carrots and onions. Cut the carrots into strips, and 2 onions into half rings. Fry them in vegetable oil until half cooked. Add the diced tomatoes, season with salt and simmer for 2 minutes. Then pour water, add sour cream, stir everything and bring to a boil. Remove from heat.
Boil the rice in salted water until tender and let it cool down. Peel and chop the onion. Add onion, rice and yolk to the minced meat. Season well with salt and pepper. Mix everything thoroughly and form small balls of the same size from the minced meat.

Place the meatballs in a high-sided, fireproof dish. Pour over the cooked fry. Place in an oven preheated to 200 ° C and bake for 30-40 minutes. At the same time, make sure that the carrots and onions do not burn. Serve the finished meatballs with tender mashed potatoes, sprinkled with parsley.
Fish meatballs in a creamy sauce
Ingredients: – 400 g of fish fillets; – 1/3 cup rice; – 100 g of bread pulp; – the head of an onion; – yolk; – salt and black pepper to taste; – 5 tbsp. spoons of sour cream; – ½ glass of water; – 1 teaspoon of butter; – 1 tablespoon flour; – 150 ml heavy cream.

Pass the fish fillet and onion through a meat grinder. Mix with bread soaked in water, boiled rice and yolk. Season with salt and pepper. Mix everything and make balls from the minced meat.
Melt the butter in a skillet. Fry the flour in it for a couple of minutes, then add sour cream, water and cream. Stir everything and salt to taste. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 2 minutes.
Place the meatballs in a fireproof dish and cover with the prepared creamy sauce. Place them in an oven preheated to 180 ° C and cook for 20-30 minutes. Serve meatballs with mashed potatoes or pasta, garnish with herbs.
