So when we decided to test the cleansing products, I was incredibly excited.

Expectation: I have known the Weleda brand for a long time and fell in love with all products from the minute I visited their laboratory in Germany. I have not tried almond milk before, so it was very interesting for me to test it, moreover, as the manufacturer claims, it should also protect the skin from moisture loss. Well, let’s check it out!

Reality: the milk is very delicate in texture and looks more like a cream. It can be applied to the face with a cotton pad or with your fingertips, I used the first option. It contains only natural ingredients, including almond oil, plum seed oil and lactic acid. Thanks to them, the skin is cleansed and toned. After application, I felt that the skin was not only clean, but also hydrated. Almond milk will now live in my bathroom for a long time.

Expectation: I have combination skin, so it tends to be oily in some places and dry in others. The SkinCeuticals Cleansing Gel, as described, is made for me and is supposed to rid the skin of all impurities and improve its texture.

Reality: I really like the texture of the gel, because with it you can always very quickly cleanse the skin and even remove makeup. The tool very well cleanses from excess sebum, the face became very clean and there was a feeling that the pores were smaller, and the blackheads became less noticeable. Perhaps this is all due to the acids that are included in the gel. I washed my face with the gel for about 10 days, and during this time my skin became more radiant.

– Ah, that beautiful face! We all dream of smooth, fresh, clean, glowing skin. But we perfectly understand: there is no such remedy that has an effect once and for all, for the skin of the face you need constant and gentle care. But this last principle is often violated. I myself am not one of the big lovers of all kinds of washes and wipes, I can afford to go to bed without applying a cream (although with the obligatory washing of my face with ordinary warm water), soothing myself that the skin also needs to rest (I moistened it with water, ha- Ha). I gave up means for washing (gels, soaps, foams) a long time ago, for about a year – they tightened and strongly dried the skin. Now I wash my face only with water and use a face cream. But she agreed to an editorial experiment almost immediately.

Reality: the color is immediately impressive – black (gel with activated carbon). We are already used to multi-colored masks, but creams and gels for the face, as a rule, have a light shade. However, black is even more interesting. Nice delicate aroma. Lightweight, soft texture. The product is latherable, but practically does not foam. And, which turned out to be very pleasant for me, it does not tighten the skin! I can’t say that my face magically began to glow from the inside, but the condition of my skin really improved. It has become smoother and fresher. Of the additional bonuses – a very affordable price and economical consumption (a drop on the fingertip is enough on the face).

– So many things I have not tried in search of the perfect makeup remover. Oil-based products do an excellent job, but leave greasy marks on the skin. Gel formulations, in my opinion, are rather difficult to wash off, and milk (and it is this, according to the cosmetologist, I should use daily for skin care) requires more thorough and long-term removal of cosmetics. Micellar for me is a real find. I love her so much that I buy a new tube almost as often as I buy shampoo and conditioner.

The product cleanses the skin and moisturizes it so that after washing with rather hard Moscow water, no cream is required. Plus a pleasant smell, stylish packaging and a large enough volume that will last for a long time.

Expectation: The cotton pads are impregnated with a hydrogen-rich micellar water cleaner. The product gently removes makeup without drying out the skin.

It also contains coconut milk and panthenol to moisturize and soften the skin.

Reality: there are 20 discs in the package, from which it can be concluded that I am unlikely to use Dermaclear from Dr. Jart + every day. Even taking into account the fact that it takes one (maximum two discs) to remove makeup, it turns out to be expensive. But in travel and business trips, this thing is simply irreplaceable.

Firstly, the product really removes cosmetics well, and secondly, it provides the necessary care outside the home, and thirdly, you are always sure that nothing will spill in your suitcase and you will not be forced to throw your favorite jar out of your bag while going through customs.

– My skin is very dry, especially since there are a lot of irritants in winter – wind, batteries, a heater. As if everyone is against me. I’m a little lazy, I don’t use a tonic or cream, and I already have to deal with peeling. I want the most delicate cleansing, and ideally, so that sometimes you can skip the evening care and go to bed right after washing. I’m also very afraid of fragrances, a light aroma – I’m already sneezing.

Expectation: Three-in-one on a jar means there is a cleansing milk, eye make-up remover and tonic inside. The product is suitable for fans of waterless washing, because you do not need to rinse it off.

Reality: the texture is soft and pleasant. It takes two to three cotton pads to wash off foundation, concealer, and eye makeup. It’s nice that I didn’t have to rub my eyelids too much and my eyes didn’t pinch. Waterproof mascara, without which there is nowhere in winter, also remained on the cotton pad. If you don’t rinse the product off your face, the rest of the milk is absorbed, and you really don’t need to use tonic and cream, but lie lazily in the crib. I also really love Vichy thermal water, which just became the basis for Purete Thermale 3 in 1.

Expectation: Clinique promises that the product will melt from the warmth of your hands and turn into an oil that will easily dissolve even waterproof makeup. And the composition is selected so as not to dry the skin.

Reality: First of all, you don’t need cotton pads to wash with Clinique Cleansing Balm. I love to take off my makeup while lying in the bath, so the format of the product suits me exactly. You do not need to scoop up the balm, it remains on your fingers from one touch. And on the skin it really looks like oil. A light massage and a clean face. Most of all, I was afraid to see a panda in the mirror, but the balm miraculously coped with both mascara and arrows. And a nice bonus: after washing your face does not tighten.

– Not all means are suitable for me. It is very important that they are as natural as possible in composition: otherwise, rashes cannot be avoided.

Expectation: Since this is the first time I’m trying such a melting gel, which turns into oil when applied, there were no particular expectations. But the manufacturer promises that it “effectively removes sebum, impurities and even long-lasting make-up while leaving the skin feeling comfortable. And its texture is suitable even for the most sensitive skin, perfectly cleanses, soothes and fills the skin with radiance. “

Reality: at first I could not understand why he leaves a barely noticeable film after rinsing. There was a feeling that he would not wash off the makeup. But then I felt that the skin becomes smooth and moisturized. After washing, I tried to cleanse the skin with lotion as well – the cotton pad remained perfectly clean, despite the fact that I used a foundation. So I made sure that the gel washes off makeup perfectly.

It is also important to apply the gel to dry skin, spreading it over the face with massage movements, it is at this moment that the gel turns into oil. And then wash your face – upon contact with water, another transformation occurs. The gel becomes a delicate milk and rinses off well. After washing, the skin becomes smooth and soft, there is no need to moisturize additionally. In the end, I really liked the tool. The only drawback: quite a large expense. Quite a lot of gel is needed to apply all over the face.

Expectation: I remove only mascara with milk. From this tool, in fact, I expected that it will remove intense makeup from the face and eyes, cleanse the skin of impurities.

Reality: the consistency resembles a cream, it looks snow-white with a pleasant smell. A very handy jar with a dispenser. The product coped with the foundation perfectly, but the mascara was not completely removed the first time. After washing, it feels like a moisturizer has been applied. Milk softens, moisturizes and makes the skin silky to the touch. I tried to wash it like a gel, applying it to damp skin. I also liked the result.

Expectation: the gel contains extracts of rose and jasmine, which have soothing and softening properties. The manufacturer promises that the skin will become softer, more elastic and beautiful. And I really like both rose and jasmine in terms of aroma, which immediately won over me.

Reality: the delicate gel turns into an airy foam upon contact with water, cleanses and softens the skin. Despite its budgetary cost, the gel does its job perfectly. The only thing I would like is a more intense aroma.

– Every evening I cleanse my face with lotion, and my eyes with a make-up remover, but since I have sensitive skin, I am very responsible in my choice of products. I chose Garnier milk because of the rose water in the composition, it sounds very beautiful. And I have never heard of micellar gel and I will be glad to try it, especially since it is a gel and a tonic 2 in 1.

Expectation: in winter, my skin peels off in zones on my face and I need the maximum moisturizing effect. I do not use a face tone, so it is enough for me to cleanse my skin from city and office dust. I really hope that the product will wash off mascara from eyelashes without any problems. Manufacturers promise excellent toning effect, improving skin texture, cleansing, tightening pores and moisturizing.

Reality: the gel is in a 500 ml plastic bottle with a dispenser. It is convenient to use, one press is enough for one cotton pad, the texture is non-greasy, gel. There are many air bubbles inside the gel, which makes the product look unusual. The face cleans well, and after use, a pleasant sensation of freshness remains. Mascara is poorly washed off from the eyes, you have to press harder and wipe it several times.

Expectation: Garnier milk is intended for dry and sensitive skin, just like mine. The product contains rose water, which has soothing and antioxidant properties. So my skin needs to be cleansed without tightness.

Reality: the product has a very standard texture – this is just a classic version of the milk for removing makeup. This gentle milk delicately removes makeup from the eyes, while it almost does not sting the eyes. After use, the skin is moisturized, so you don’t even need to use a night cream. The product has a very light scent of damask rose petals.

Expectations: Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Makeup Remover & Cleanser contains a blend of evening primrose and lavender oils. According to the manufacturer, it is suitable for all skin types, even oily. It washes away makeup well and removes impurities, and also gives the skin a feeling of comfort and hydration.

Reality: Using Kiehl’s oil was a little unusual for me. It should be applied to dry skin, then moisten the face with water and massage a little, and then rinse. I am delighted with the scent: it smells like my favorite lavender. Cleans perfectly and leaves the skin soft and delicate. The oil removes even stubborn make-up and leaves the face pristine. I especially liked that the product does not clog pores.

– I can’t imagine what I would do without means for cleansing the face. For me, this is a real ritual, without which I probably will not be able to sleep … Among the many beauty products, I settled on foams and gels for washing. I like milk and micellar water less. But especially for our site, I nevertheless decided to test both the gel and the milk.

Expectation: the gel, as the manufacturer writes, has a light consistency, foams easily, cleanses the face and removes decorative cosmetics. It also unclogs pores and is more suitable for combination to oily skin. I especially liked the last fact, because I have combination skin.

Reality: the gel is fully consistent with the description. But the most important thing is that it makes the skin perfectly clean from the first application. Even the most persistent foundation and powder will not stay on your face! Also, after using the product, the skin seems to glow from the inside, and a moisturizer perfectly fits on it. And one more pleasant bonus: a light refreshing aroma.

Expectation: the milk bribed me with its composition. In addition to natural oils, sea spring water is also added to it, which, according to the manufacturer, thanks to its trace elements, saturates the skin with minerals and life-giving moisture. The description also indicates that the product is suitable for any age and any skin type.

Reality: Even with my indifference to cleansing products such as milk, I liked the Thalgo product. It has a very delicate texture that perfectly removes dirt and make-up. After using it, the skin becomes very smooth and hydrated. Plus I can name the fact that milk can also be used to remove mascara. And it does not sting the eyes even when applied abundantly to the eyelashes.

Expectation: Spray oil promises to cope with even the most persistent makeup – for example, waterproof mascara. And we all know that not every cleansing beauty product will cope with it.

Reality: This is the first time I come across such a tool. And therefore, I made several mistakes immediately in the first stages of use. Once again I was convinced that you need to carefully study the instructions! The product is sprayed onto a cotton pad as a light oil – and attention! – spreads gently over the skin. No need to rub your eyes and be indignant about why cosmetics do not wash off well – in my case. I washed the second painted eye strictly according to the directions on the package. I applied it to the skin, waited a minute and … fantastic – mascara and shadows were easily washed off with almost one movement. And the best part is that the skin is moisturized, there is no film. I didn’t even apply a moisturizing night cream. I am very pleased with the result, but I will save the product for evening washings. I think that on slightly oily skin, foundation will not fit well.

Expectation: the instruction on the bottle states that the product is suitable for all skin types, ideal for sensitive, hypoallergenic and suitable for contact lens wearers. And in addition to removing makeup, it performs the function of cleansing the skin as a whole.

Reality: again a familiar remedy in an unusual consistency. Gel this time. That is, it should be applied to a slightly moisturized face. And the rest – just like they used to wash with foam or any other gel. I liked the result – the skin is clean, fresh, so to speak, “breathed” freely, free of makeup. But with sensitivity, cosmetologists got excited – the agent stings the eyes! Not nearly as strong as soap, but still unpleasant. And, of course, I had to wash my face thoroughly and abundantly with tap water, which, in principle, I try to avoid.
