Matura 2022: chemistry advanced level – how many points do you need to pass?

High school diploma in chemistry it is not a compulsory examination. This means that there is no pass threshold, i.e. a certain number of points necessary for the exam to pass.

However, the number of points is important when enrolling for studies, if the high school graduate will apply, for example, to medicine, chemistry, pharmacy, dietetics or some fields related to construction, e.g. construction chemistry.

At the advanced level of the matura exam in chemistry, you can get a maximum of 60 points. There were 34 tasks to be solved (closed and open).

Matura 2022: chemistry advanced level – program and requirements

During this year’s matura exam in chemistry, students do not comply with all the matura exam requirements in chemistry, which were obligatory before 2020, i.e. before the COVID-19 pandemic. Some topics have been simplified or excluded from the list. You can find a detailed list of topics for the matura exam in chemistry 2022 in the CKE brochure.
