The Producers Market is an initiative that brings together more than 50 production companies from the Community of Madrid in Plaza Matadero with free entry to all visitors, where their own products will be offered with a careful selection.
The concept is the recovery of traditional food and the product itself. from its cultivation, breeding or transformation process, offering it directly in the city where it has been “gestated”.
This is the first edition of the exhibition that brings together farmers, ranchers and food product manufacturers whose common link is the location of their companies within the CCAA of Madrid and of course, that everyone loves and takes extreme care of their products to offer them in the best conditions to the consumer.
The initiative is run by Alfa Market, and is sponsored by the community government and its council. Also participating in the event are DO Vinos de Madrid, ASEACAM, Carne de la Sierra de Guadarrama, Oil of Madrid, Committee of Ecological Agriculture of the Community of Madrid and Madrid Destino.
Throughout the 5000 square meters that the exhibitors will occupy, visitors will be able to buy organic farming, meats from the Sierra de Guadarrama, sausages, vegetables and fruits, oil, sourdough bread, jams, wines, spirits, beer, eggs, smoked, salted, ice cream, cheeses, chocolate, sausages, Iberian, pastries, liqueurs, empanadas, croquettes, eggs, preserves, mushrooms, dairy products, sweets, etc …
It will be a monthly appointment to buy fresh, close and fully guaranteed products; in most cases, made by hand, with great care and with the highest quality. And very important, with the taste of yesteryear!
On the last weekends of each month, this special market will take place, uninterrupted from 11am to 19pm on Saturdays and from 11am to 17pm on Sundays.
Tasting and consumption of the products will be possible throughout the day, offering the visitor a special sample of products in a special care and exhibition environment.
The harmony with the environment will be another of the characteristics of the exhibition space, and an interaction with the public will be carried out through social networks and other mobile communication media.
Obligatory appointment to go as a family where there will be spaces specially enabled for the little ones and for the pets that accompany us.
