Bags under the eyes
With age or from fatigue, they appear in many of us. Most often, girls try to cope with this nuisance with a lot of concealer. And in the end, all the disguise is in plain sight, and the makeup is heavy. Where is the mistake? The fact is that in order to hide the bags, you need to apply concealer only to the inner and outer corners of the eyes, and not to the entire area under the eyes. If the bags are outlined with a dark line just below the swelling, first you need to apply a thin layer of your foundation under the eyes, and then mask the line itself with concealer with a small brush.
Rare eyelashes
If nature has not rewarded you with thick eyelashes or they have thinned a lot over the years, learn to visually enlarge your eyelashes with mascara. It will be a mistake to tint only the tips, your task is to paint over the base of the eyelashes as much as possible so that they seem thicker. To do this, first apply the eyelash thickening cream and then the mascara with the applicator comb, not with the spiral brush. Move the comb from side to side, not up and down, and the mascara will hit the roots.
Any woman can change herself – make her eyes bigger, give them an almond shape, achieve a visual lifting of the eyelids with the help of shadows. You just need to master the technique.
- This arrangement of shadows lengthens the eyes and emphasizes their almond shape.
- Blend the shadows up towards the outer edges to raise the outer corners of the eyes.
- Another option for a more compact application of eyeshadow, which also helps to raise the outer corners of the eyes.
- If your eyes are set wide apart, you can use this shading method to make them appear larger.
Correcting asymmetric lips
If you have thin or asymmetrical lips, you can correct them with matte lipstick, not pencil. An overly sharp pencil edge will look rough and conspicuous.
- This is how the contour looks like, applied without correcting asymmetry. It will only emphasize the irregular shape of the lips.
- Take a lipstick with a brush and trace the upper lip. Starting from the center and moving to the outer edges, rounding the corners of the “Cupid’s bow” and applying points a little further than the natural contour of the lips. Do the same with the lower lip.
- Apply color in a thin layer, then talk to yourself and smile to see if you need to widen your lips or even out the edges.
- Relax the lips, pull them together and apply color, correcting the outline of the upper lip, if you did not succeed on the first application.
