Mass personality is a personality that is massively replicated by common patterns of local culture. A person who lives according to a pattern, not including his head, solving only situational problems, not comprehending his life as a whole, not looking for his own path and his own business. Usually this is a person of a low personal and cultural level, undeveloped or degrading↑.

They are always right, because they hear very few people except themselves, they have a different (and often bad) mood, then they are easily turned on, it is difficult to calm down, pout offendedly and like to be indignant.

Mass and developed personality

A developed personality is opposed to a mass personality — a personality that has not necessarily reached the highest levels of development, but has a certain personal and cultural level that is expected and accepted in this circle. See →

Faces of mass personality

Faces of the mass personality:

  • Dummy and Cattle,
  • Most often an Experiential Personality, less often a Dunce or a Martyr, rarely a Doer.
  • The one who easily falls into the Parasite, less often the Consumer or the Romantic, is never the Creator.
  • Most often the Dependent or the Executor, less often the Specialist or the Responsible employee, seldom the Head or the Owner.

What to expect from a mass personality

Possible failures in:

  • adequacy (when the template is adequate, the mass personality is also adequate. The template has gone astray or outdated — the mass personality behaves in the old way, that is, already inadequate)
  • emotional tone (in youth they are lively stupid, in old age they are grumps)

Power and discipline in the hands of the mass personality

Power, especially authoritarian power, in the hands of a mass personality is dangerous. The demand for discipline coming from the mass personality usually has a selfish character («Shut up! Don’t get in the way!») and crushes independence. See Power and Personality
