Marinated pork ribs: how to marinate? Video

Pork ribs can always taste richer by pickling them before cooking. There are dozens of recipes for various pork marinades in different cuisines of the world. It is marinated in beer and other alcohol, in soy sauce, in various types of vinegar, onions, fruits, herbs and spices are added.

Pork ribs marinated in dark beer

For 1 kilogram of pork ribs, you will need: – 350 ml of dark Guinness beer; – 1 large onion; – ¼ cup of soy sauce; – ¼ cup of brown cane sugar; – 2 tablespoons of sesame oil; – 2 cloves of garlic.

For a glossy finish, glaze the ribs with ½ cup honey, ¾ teaspoon ground black pepper, ¼ cup soy sauce, 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley, and an equal amount of minced garlic

Place the ribs in a large saucepan, bowl, container, or zip-fastened heavy-duty plastic bag. Peel and chop the onion. Peel the garlic and pass through a press. In a bowl, combine beer, soy sauce, cane sugar, onion, and garlic. Pour the marinade over the ribs, stir so that they are all covered with the mixture.

If you marinate the ribs in a bag, close the clasp; if in another dish, cover it with cling film. Put the ribs in the refrigerator and keep them there from 1 hour to 6. The time for marinating the ribs depends on how much meat is on them, the more there is, the longer the ribs should be kept in the marinade.

Cook the ribs in the oven or grill, and serve with barbecue sauce or other hot and savory sauces.

Pork ribs in fruit marinade

A sweet fruity marinade of pineapple and apple cider vinegar gives the ribs a spicy flavor and unique aroma. You will need: – 1 cup of diced pineapples; – 1/3 cup of soy sauce; – 1/3 cup of liquid honey; – 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar; – 2 cloves of garlic; – 1 teaspoon of chopped ginger; – 1 / 4 teaspoons of chopped cloves.

Rinse the ribs under running water and dry. Place in the dish in which you are going to marinate them. In a separate bowl, combine soy sauce and apple cider vinegar, add runny honey, chopped garlic and ginger, whisk and add cloves and pineapple. Pour the marinade over the ribs, stir so that it covers them on all sides, pack airtight and refrigerate. For marinating ribs, a few hours are enough, but they can be stored in the marinade for several days.

Mustard marinade for ribs

Prepare a mustard marinade, for it you will need: – 1/3 cup Dijon mustard; – 1/4 cup olive oil; – 1/4 cup table vinegar; – 1 tablespoon dried sage; – 1 tablespoon chopped bay leaves; – 1 a clove of garlic.

Whisk the mustard, olive oil and vinegar. Add chopped garlic, dried sage, and bay leaf. Marinate the ribs and refrigerate.
