History of the Marengo brand

The first bottle of vermouth with the name “sea green” was released in 2001. The date indicated on the product packaging – 1982 – corresponds to the time the winery was founded in Koblevo.

It took about 20 years to create a harmonious recipe. The company has been experimenting with ingredients for a long time, combining different European grape varieties with fragrant herbs and spices. The result is a perfectly balanced, refined vermouth made from high quality wine.

In just a couple of years, the Marengo brand won the love of consumers and became a leader, becoming No. 1 vermouth in Ukraine.

In 2015, the brand was replenished with a line of refreshing sparkling wines created on the basis of Muscat grape varieties.

Within 5 months, the new champagne became the second in terms of sales in Ukraine.

In 2018, low-alcohol cocktails with the addition of Italian orange and still wines appeared in the Marengo collection.

In 2019, as a result of the joint work of the international agencies Reynolds and Reyner and Lewis Moberly, the design of Marengo vermouths was updated. After restyling, the bottle began to look more elegant and stylish: the label acquired a metallic sheen, the font became more effective, and a coat of arms appeared on the blue-gold cap.
