Manusan – liquid
Manusan liquid is mainly used for hygienic hand washing. To do this, apply about 3 ml of the liquid to your hands moistened with water and wash your hands for about 2 minutes. Then rinse the remnants of the liquid thoroughly and dry your hands with a disposable paper towel. In turn, in the case of surgical hand washing, we should apply 3 to 5 ml of Manusan liquid, and then wash the hands and forearms for 3 minutes. After this time, rinse the rest of the liquid with water, and then rub 3 ml of the preparation into the hands and arms for a minute. After rinsing, dry your hands with a paper towel. Washing the skin and hair should avoid the eyes and mucous membranes.
In the case of Manusan fluid, it is very important to handle the substance properly. Remember that this is a product for external use only. In addition, it must not be used for the care of infants and young children. If the fluid gets into the eye, rinse the contaminated eyes thoroughly. Remember, however, that the water stream should not be too strong. Otherwise, the cornea may be damaged. If eye irritation has occurred, consult an ophthalmologist.
An interesting fact is that the chlorhexidine digluconate contained in the liquid has the ability to accumulate in the epidermis. Thanks to this, it is possible to prolong its operation, lasting up to three hours. This action ensures the destruction of bacteria living in the deeper layers of the skin, which are released into the gloves during the operation.
