A wide variety of pigs are the main characters of the festive nail art.
Why not play a little naughty on New Year’s holidays – suddenly the pig on the nails will bring good luck next year? Well, if you don’t even believe in omens, then such a manicure will definitely attract attention. Moreover, there are many options for such a decor of nails: for lovers of the classics, and for adherents of minimalism, and for those who love paints and shine.
The focus this winter is the “knitted” manicure, which imitates, respectively, different knitting patterns – plaits, pigtails, rhombuses. And if you sprinkle the varnish with a special velvet powder, you get an incredible effect of a real fabric.
The main thing is not to overdo it, such a design should be present on just a couple of nails, and it is better to leave the rest smooth. But how stylish it will look on the hand of a pig in an almost real knitted hat and scarf.
Lovers of sparkling design also have a lot to turn around – they just have to give free rein to their imagination. You can “draw” a crown of glitter to the pig, make an unusual patch of foil, or lay out the pig entirely from multi-colored rhinestones. The more shine, the better, because the Pig, as a symbol of the coming year, loves everything shiny.
If the length of the nails allows, you can create a whole picture on one (or several) of them. Favorite cartoon characters are in trend – for example, Peppa Pig or Piglet. You can also depict other New Year’s symbols next to the pig – from a decorated Christmas tree to a snowman. The main thing is to make sure that such a manicure does not turn from creative to tasteless.
If you are not ready to paint entire canvases on your nails, you can get by with a minimal design. For example, mark a stylized piglet on one of the nails. Or apply the image of the symbol of the year only as a silhouette. If inspired by suitable examples, it will look very stylish.
