Mango syrup: 2 recipes at home

Easy Mango Syrup Recipe

Ingredients

  1. Big mango – 1 pc.

  2. Sugar – 2 cups

  3. Water – 2 cups

  4. Vanilla extract – 1 tsp (optional)

Method of preparation

  1. Remove the skin from the mango and remove the pit.

  2. Place mango and water in a blender, blend until smooth.

  3. Add mixture to saucepan, add water and vanilla extract (optional), cook over medium heat until thickened

  4. Let cool, then transfer to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator. Guaranteed shelf life – 2 weeks.

Alternative Mango Syrup Recipe

Ingredients

  1. Mango – 4 pc.

  2. Sugar – 3 cups

  3. Lime juice – 3 tbsp. l.

Method of preparation

  1. Remove the skin from the mango, get rid of the stone, cut into small pieces.

  2. In a saucepan with a little water, cook the mango pieces, the fruit should become soft, then beat the mixture in a blender.

  3. Add sugar and lime juice to a saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil and reduce the heat to a minimum, do not forget to stir often. Cook 10 minutes.

  4. During cooking, foam may appear, remove it with a spoon.

  5. Additionally, you can strain the syrup, but not necessary.

  6. Remove syrup from heat, stir and pour into bottles with tight lids.
