Its main ingredients are meat and onions, and in considerable quantities. Such a salad is prepared quickly enough, so even a novice hostess will be able to please her beloved man with this dish.

“Man’s Caprice” salad with beef: recipe

To prepare the “Man’s Caprice” salad with beef, you will need:

  • 200 grams of beef
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 large onions
  • 100 grams of hard cheese
  • 300 grams of mayonnaise
  • apple cider vinegar – to taste

Boil the beef, cut the finished cooled meat into small cubes or oblong thin slices. After peeling the husks from the onions, cut them into rings along the entire length, then cut the rings in half. Place them in a deep saucer and cover with vinegar. Marinate for 15 minutes, then drain the vinegar and squeeze the onion pieces to drain off excess liquid.

Grate cheese and hard-boiled eggs separately on a coarse grater. Don’t mix them up. Now take a low, wide dish and alternately lay the prepared ingredients in thin layers on it in the following sequence: a layer of onion slices, then a layer of mayonnaise, beef, another layer of mayonnaise, grated egg, grated cheese.

  • 80 grams of veal

  • mayonnaise taste
  • ground black pepper to taste

Boil the veal in salted water. When the meat has cooled, cut into strips and pepper. Hard-boiled eggs, peel, grate. Grate the cheese as well. After peeling the onion from the husk, cut it into half rings. After that, scald them with boiling water, pour vinegar and water in a 1: 1 ratio and leave for 10 minutes. Lay the salad in layers: veal, grated eggs, pickled onions, a not very thick layer of mayonnaise, grated cheese.

To prepare the “Man’s Caprice” salad with chicken and mushrooms, take:

  • 400 grams of chicken fillet or leg
  • 1 bulb
  • 4 eggs
  • 200 grams of canned butter
  • mayonnaise taste

So, boil the chicken fillet or leg without skin until tender, then remove the bones. Finely chop the cooled meat and hard-boiled eggs. Do not mix these ingredients. Cut the onion into rings and soak in the vinegar marinade. To prepare the latter, dilute the vinegar with water in a 1: 1 ratio. Lay all the ingredients in layers, smearing each of them with mayonnaise, in the following sequence: chicken pieces, pickled onions, butter (no marinade), chopped eggs. There is no need to grease the top layer of lettuce (eggs) with mayonnaise.

To prepare this salad, you will need the following products:

  • 300 grams of fresh champignons
  • 5 apples
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 yellow bell pepper
  • 400 grams of cheese
  • 50 grams of butter
  • 3 mandarin
  • 400 grams of sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 4 teaspoons honey
  • 1 lemon

Cut the washed mushrooms into 2 or 4 pieces, and then fry in a pan with butter. Peel and core the apples and cut into small cubes. Cut the bell peppers into strips and cut the cheese into small cubes. Peel the tangerines and remove the streaks. Next, combine the sautéed mushrooms, cheese and apple cubes, pepper and tangerine wedges.

Now prepare the dressing: peel the lemon from the zest and grate it finely, and squeeze the juice of the lemon pulp into a separate bowl. Add grated lemon zest, mustard, honey and sour cream there. Whisk the mixture well until smooth. Add cooked dressing to salad and serve.
