Men are only interested in sex, and women are more important than tenderness and affection? A team of American scientists led by clinical psychologist Julia Heiman disproved this myth.
They interviewed more than 1000 happy couples from the US, Japan, Brazil, Germany and Spain who have been living together for an average of 25 years. Unexpected results: Men who kiss and cuddle more often with their wives are three times more satisfied with relationships than those who are not into «calf tenderness.» For women, such a connection between caresses and a sense of happiness in marriage has not been established! And another broken stereotype: men were more likely to say that they were satisfied with their relationship with their wives, while women were more willing to report sexual satisfaction.
