Makeup lessons from Chanel

Chanel has developed a wonderful tradition: to invite its own makeup artists from Western countries to Moscow. Last year, guests from England made us happy with their visit, this year – the Spaniards. Who will be next?

From April 1 to April 6, Chanel makeup artists from Spain – Francisco Guarez and Frederic Adenis worked at Chanel Makeup Studio in TSUM. These days, by appointment, everyone could try on new makeup trends performed by Spanish magicians. The action was not massively announced, but everyone who passed by could be among the lucky ones. The main condition is that your free time coincides with the free graphs in the schedule of the Spanish masters.

Francisco and Frederic worked miracles, and it was impossible to take your eyes off their work.

Meanwhile, we asked Andrey Shilkov, the leading makeup artist of Chanel in Russia and the CIS countries, about the trends in spring-summer makeup and the spring collection of Chanel makeup.

“White pearlescent spring light was the inspiration for Chanel’s spring makeup collection. At the end of winter, the first rays of spring begin to slowly appear. This special light, shimmering with polar whites, golden highlights and blue shadows, seems dreamlike.

Our eyes should be shining this season. LES 4 FLEURS eyeshadow comes in the shape of camellias and comes in four shades with a unique texture to match the refinement of this precious flower. An exquisite, extremely complex formula, light shimmer, complemented by a sheen reminiscent of dew on the surface of a flower. Pale blue, pale pink, sparkling white and blossoming lilac. These pastel shades subtly illuminate the eyes of any color. All delicate shades of pink are located on the lips, like flower petals, blooming under an azure sky. A light, radiant face is created using the unique Le Blanc de CHANEL makeup base. The Luna highlighter, like moonlight, modulates the contours of the face and neckline, attracting light. This light, translucent, radiant treatment is applied to the cheekbones, bridge of the nose, forehead and eyelids. In this way, you simulate the lighting, as if you were setting the light in a photographic studio. If we talk about the general color scheme of this season, then this is the clear blue March sky, pastel colors of the morning dawn and the deep blue of the starry night, fragile, timid colors of flowers wet with dew. “

From May, an exclusive product will appear on sale, which can only be bought at Makeup Studio (TSUM): Contraste de Poudres – a palette of two shades of blush for modeling the face and two shades of powder to make the skin glow.

Two shades of blush to choose from – “rosewood” and beige pink – shape and refresh the face. The most delicate powder makes the skin brighter. The beige shade is suitable for daytime makeup. It fills the skin with radiance, retouching blemishes thanks to the soft play of light. Delicate lilac shade is intended for evening make-up. It brightens the skin and conceals imperfections in complexion. Magically!

And although the product will only appear on sale in May 2008, we are already looking forward to it!
