Makeup for problem skin: what are its features

As you know, our people don’t even go to the bakery without makeup, and if the skin is problematic, they are completely dressed up 24/7. In fact, such perfectionism is useless: yes, problem skin needs makeup, but it should not look like a mask.

Features of problem skin

Problematic skin is considered to be with a certain kind of imperfections. Why do they appear and what do they report to the owner?
  1. Closed comedones and uneven skin texture indicate that the stratum corneum does not have time to be updated in a timely manner.

  2. If shine in the forehead and nose area it starts to bother you after dinner, and the coverage of the foundation does not survive until the evening, which means that your sebaceous glands secrete too much secret – sebum.

  3. Acne is the most obvious symptom of problematic skin. Acne can appear periodically, or it can be on the face all the time. The combination of factors that we mentioned above causes inflammation: a thickened keratinized layer of the epidermis does not allow sebum to come to the surface, as a result of which bacteria begin to multiply in the pores.

The choice of cosmetics for problem skin

The mistake that all owners of oily and problem skin have made at least once is an attempt to dry their skin. This gives the exact opposite effect and leads to increased secretion of sebum. If you like long-lasting and matte foundations, add a moisturizing gel to your face care.

Fashion for highlighting does not cancel the taboo on oily sheen in the T-zone. But instead of a powder box, it’s better to put matting wipes in your cosmetic bag: layering powder on a face with floating makeup will only exacerbate problems, but wipes will quickly absorb excess sebum without harm to the skin.

Oily skin is distinguished by wide pores, which is genetically determined. Yes, regularly cleansing the pores at home or at the beautician, you help to narrow them a little. But for a noticeable effect, we recommend using silicone primers that will fill in the bumps.

Foundation

Blackheads do not add self-confidence, but this is not a reason to choose tonal foundations with the densest texture. Any makeup artist will advise you to opt for BB and CC creams or foundation with medium coverage, and mask local inflammation with a dense concealer.

No less important is how you wash off your makeup. Alkaline products are not your helpers. Good care means two step wash.
  1. Remove makeup with oil or micellar water.

  2. Wash with foam or gel.

Concealer

To mask the inflammatory elements, you will need two means at once:

  1. cover redness with a green corrector;

  2. apply a skin tone concealer on top.

Powder

Powder is used to mattify and fix makeup. Loose textures lay down in a thinner layer, pressed – as dense as possible. l
