What is makeup base

Product called primer (aka foundation/make-up base) was invented in order to better lay down the foundation and increase the durability of makeup.

In contact with the skin, such a product works in several directions at once: it maintains a balance of moisture, evens out the tone and relief of the skin, and gives radiance. In order for the primer to show all its strengths, it is important to apply it correctly.
Apply primer to cleansed face. Use a gel or mousse for this – a product that suits your skin type.
After washing, be sure to apply a facial toner or booster. Apply moisturizer if necessary.
After 15 minutes, when the cream is absorbed, squeeze a little primer onto the fingertips and spread over the entire face. Let it soak in and only then apply foundation.
