How many times have you made a promise to start a new life? How many times has it really started? Tomsk women were offered to take part in a bold project and try to change themselves and their appearance. The first participants were the wards of the crisis center.
The project for women “Another Me” appeared in Tomsk in December last year, and the idea was born from the personal experience of one of its creators – Maria Borzunova.
– Having gone through another series of problems and difficulties, I very clearly felt how difficult it is for a woman who is in a difficult life situation to get support. But it is so important for a woman to feel that she is not alone and there are people who care about her, – says Maria.
The first group consisted of seven women – wards of the Semya municipal crisis center. All of them have experienced various kinds of violence, hardships and hardships of fate. For two and a half months, a team of professionals from the Other Me project helped the participants to rethink their inner world, gain confidence, get rid of fear and fill life with bright colors that are so necessary for every woman.
The reincarnation program included fitness, dancing, psychological trainings, educational master classes and much more. Well, the final touch was the work of the stylists. As they say, photos will speak for themselves.
Irina Pronina. 42 years. Mom of three children. 4 years ago, she turned to the crisis center for support and help. The life of this woman has always been difficult: she herself was brought up in an orphanage, and now she is raising her children alone, grabbing for any part-time job. Irina is very punchy and purposeful, she never gives up, and now with a new image she knows even better that everything will work out!
Valkova Elena. 44 years old. 2 children, 17 years old was married. According to her, in her family life she experienced a huge number of trials and difficulties, but she tried with all her might to preserve the marriage for the sake of children. Three years ago, the very “turning point” happened when the strength ended … Elena left and took a step into a new life.
Elena Erokhina. 50 years. Mother of two children. She was married for 26 years. During this time, she received a huge amount of psychological and physical trauma from her husband. 3 years ago, When the children became adults, I gathered my strength and left. For two years, the ex-husband literally pursued Elena, not allowing her to live in peace. The result of participation in the project is clearly visible in the photo. Now she is a beautiful, confident woman.
Nadezhda Kardanets. 36 years. She was married for 10 years. Mom of two kids. She divorced her husband 2,5 years ago and was left alone with the children. The eldest daughter is 12 years old, the girl is visually impaired. However, Nadezhda is very positive, does not lose her optimism and believes that everything will be fine. In addition to the entire basic range of services, the project team found a dental clinic in which Nadezhda got her upper teeth, which immediately changed the woman’s appearance for the better.
Svetlana Meshcheryakova. 35 years. One brings up a son. The husband died in 2013. She came to the project as a squeezed, insecure, lonely woman. During the project, I actively worked on myself … and here is the RESULT.
Lyubov Maslova. 39 years. Mother of four children. Her husband is in prison. I came to the project with a great desire to change myself and my life. This is the second participant who received dental restoration services. She admits that at the moment, with the help of the project, she was able to prioritize and really began to move towards the life that she had long dreamed of.
